What To Expect
Galle Face Green
ゴールフェイスグリーンはコロンボの中心部にある半キロメートルの遊歩道で、最初は1859年にイギリスのセイロン総督、ヘンリー・ワード卿によって配置されました。広大な土地は競馬やゴルフに使われ、コルペティレースコースとして知られていました。
Old Parliament Building
旧国会議事堂は、スリランカの大統領事務局を収容する建物です。海に面したコロンボの砦エリアに位置し、コロンボの大統領官邸に近接しています。また、財務省の建物に隣接しています。 1983年にSri Jayawardenepuraに新しい国会議事堂が開かれるまで、建物は53年間島の議会を収容していました。

5.00Just returned from an incredible trip to Sri Lanka, and I have to give a huge shoutout to our amazing guide, Ajeet, and our wonderful driver, Sampath. I got connected with Ajeet through a co-worker in our Sri Lanka office, and from the start, I felt I could completely rely on him. We planned everything smoothly over WeChat—transportation, hotels, safaris, and more. His hotel recommendations were spot-on: clean, well-located, and budget-friendly. This was my first time using a guide for an entire trip, and I was a bit nervous. But Ajeet quickly put those worries to rest. He’s sincere, thoughtful, and always tailored his suggestions to our preferences—never pushing unnecessary stops or tourist traps. He was also super flexible. When my boys weren’t keen on temples, he arranged extra safaris (which they loved!). When my son wanted to see a waterfall, Ajeet made it happen on the spot. At the end of the trip, I asked for a Colombo city tour, and Ajeet came prepared with a lovely booklet and insightful commentary. I also really enjoyed our conversations about Sri Lanka’s current challenges and his hopeful outlook for the future. And Sampath—what a gem! My boys adored him and still talk about him. He was so kind and attentive, especially with my 5-year-old, which gave my husband the freedom to take photos and let me soak in the scenery. This trip was truly special, and it wouldn’t have been the same without Ajeet and Sampath. Highly recommend them if you're planning a trip to Sri Lanka! 🇱🇰💛
