3.00My partner and I went on this tour with pretty high hopes and were a little disappointed. Pick up and drop off was okay, van was comfortable enough and arrived on time. Boat ride out to the island was pretty crowded. Once we got to the island we were given an hour to look around but to be honest there isn't much to see in the town that you don't get elsewhere in Hoi An. Just not as good. I think getting a scooter and exploring the island would be a lot of fun but an hour doesn't really allow for that, nor is it very family friendly for those with children. After that we went around to the area that we snorkelled. The area used for snorkelling was very small, we weren't allowed to go over a rope too close to the beach (the only place there was anything to look at) and the water was very murky, even on a clear day. The lunch was good, lots of food and a good variety of flavours but not a lot of options for a vegetarian, but the beer was cheap and cold. I think if the beach isn't a regular thing for you and you haven't snorkelled before then it might be good for an experience but if you have snorkelled in clear water then this will probably disappoint.
