5.0045 minute boat tour was the perfect length unless you are on one of the evening boat tours. The sun was starting to get too strong after 35 minutes. The tour guide was fun and knowledgeable. The architecture itself was breathtaking but the history behind each building and it's architect made it so much more interesting than just a beautiful structure. Highly recommend!

1.00Was advertised as cancel anytime up til departure, only to find out this is not in fact the case. We wanted to book same day, but the online booking platform pushed our date to the next day and we were unaware until it was too late to change. Spoke to an on-site booking agent who told us to call corporate and complain, despite the fact that we were minutes late for the only-now mentioned 24 hour notice for cancellation. Poor bait and switch and misadvertising. Could have been easily remedied on-site by a caring company. One star review feels well deserved in this case.

3.00Chicago Architecture does not compare to European and ancient cities. Mostly just skyscrapers of varying heights. however some buildings have nice river walk promenades which would be more fun to explore on foot. roof deck is very sunny. i bought a hat for $15 to escape sunburn. Halfway through the 90 minute tour the guide ran out of historical vignettes and moved on to reciting a litany of Chicago fun facts. probably the 45 minute tour is plenty and captures the highlights.

5.00The view of the skyline in the Summer time is amazing. Thankfully, we chose a day that was not too hot, but the boat ride was smooth and the tour guide was very informative.
