ユタ・ビーチでは、今では世界クラスの博物館となっている本物のドイツ語バンカーに足を踏み入れます。 1944年6月6日、アメリカのブーツがフランス語の砂に初めて衝突した場所である。中に入ると、現存するわずか6機のB - 26爆撃機の1機を発見し、歴史を変えた兵士たちの物語を聞くことができる。

The trip was outstanding. Thelma was an excellent guide. She knew her history well and gave us a heartfelt commentary throughout the trip. I could visiualize the scenes she described on the Normandy beaches.

Thelma was incredibly knowledgeable, and we loved her passion for the topic she was teaching us/talking about. We loved her stories and appreciated all of her tips for food and drinks and where to go in Paris!

Lunch was mediocre at best. No refills on drinks or water. Waitress never said one thing. Meat was dry. Lots of guides had notebooks of pictures showing their clients. Ash did good on the bus explaining events. He definitely knows the history.

It is always a breath of fresh air when you get lucky to have a great , experienced and knowledgeable guide such as ours, Remy. Can listen to him for hours and made our travel a lot quicker.
