5.00Boat ride, golf carts, history, sights, and dolphins! But, the best part of the tour was our guide Andy! He is very knowledgeable about the area. He pointed out and explained interesting things and he clearly has good relationships with people on the island. The cost is a little high but it was worth it!

Our tour guide, Pippi, was absolutely amazing—knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about sharing the history and unique beauty of the Lowcountry. Over the course of the 5-hour adventure, we learned so much about the island, saw awe-inspiring sights, and gained a deeper appreciation for this special area. The time flew by, and every stop offered something interesting and memorable. If you love the Lowcountry and want an authentic, educational, and enjoyable experience, this tour is a must-do. 5.00Our guide, Pippi, was a delight!! She gave us an overview of Daufuskie Island, the Gullah people’s origins and compelling history. Her broad knowledge of history, geography and ecology, and her passion on these subjects made a compelling story come to life. I didn’t really notice the 90+ temps!! It’s a real plus that she is an excellent boat captain!!

5.00Our tour guide, Captain Dean, was excellent. He explained the history of the island and was very friendly. He made several stops to see dolphins and manatees. We probably saw 2 dozen dolphins. The boat ride was pleasant and comfortable.
