I went with my 14 month old to the Lego Discovery Center with the admission and photo package for around $34. I had thought there would be more than one photo spot at the entrance and one inside the dark ride - a total of two photos for the upcharge. I had assumed there would be at least a few more dedicated photo spots. The dedicated small children area was nice with the larger play blocks. We spent most of our time there and he had a blast. In the beginning we built a mini figure and downloaded some cute photos from the machines they had scattered throughout the exhibit. At the final machine I didn’t realize it didn’t let us keep our mini figure which was kind of a bummer. Feel like they could have let us keep them since we have the photos but not the physical mini figure. The food was reasonably priced, $4-8 for hotdogs and personal pizzas, but had nearly no healthy options like fruit. I would consider going again when he is a bit older maybe closer to 3 years.

It was my daughter's birthday she turned two and she had a blast. We did all the activities and took great photos! The cinema was fun too!

My daughter’s first time and I had been before. It is a wonderful experience for a child who is learning to build and how the pieces come together to make such a fun and magical story. She had such a great time going on the ride, the structure course, the 3D or 4D movie. We did not order food but we took a break in the cafe area and it was very clean.

I took my 10yo niece and her friend here. I was a little nervous because of the other reviews I had read about this place being more geared towards a younger audience but overall, that was not a problem. We ended up staying from 10am to 3pm. My niece has grown up building Legos with me so if you are looking to bring someone who really loves Legos then they will enjoy this place. I could see how for someone who isn't a huge Lego fanatic this could come off as young. We did everything and overall, it was a good experience, and my niece really got into it and I even really enjoyed the opportunity to go to the workshop and talk with the master builder afterwards. The idea of combining a build and technology is a really cool idea, if it worked fully. There are definitely areas in which this place could improve to make it a really great experience. Food Court: Was nice to have but I would've liked to see something like fries available to go along with the meals Activities: A lot of cool activities and ideas but a few of the scan options didn't really work ie the rocket ships came out as blocks instead of rocket ships. It would have been nice for there to have been either maps available or even a single board at the entrance that gave an idea of the layout of the space and what events were taking place. For example, when you first walk in you see a sign for the times of workshops and movies but no direction on where those are at so for first hour so had no idea where to go, so we ended up missing the first few films because we didn't see the theater area until we got near the back and then had to wait again for the film we wanted to see. I understand keeping costs down and such, but it would be nice to have staff at some of the space such as the special events (this time being the race car theme) to help answer questions or guide kids/parents or even help monitor lines etc. for kids to use the racetracks and so forth. I kept seeing signs around saying pick a card and start your fun but never saw any "cards" and had no idea where to go so have again a map or staff to guide guests would've been nice so that we can get the full experience. The activity booklet didn't really seem to add to anything so would've been nice if someone had gone over it a little beforehand on what it could be used for/purpose. Legos: Was great to have different stations to build and such but it is also really hard for kids to build something and have to then leave it/let it go. Maybe having an option where if you are encouraging a specific event ie race cars there is an option to purchase a racecar kit so that kids can build it there but also take it home with them. And having more tables for kids and parents to build at too not just sitting on the floor. Overall if you have a Lego fan, whether 5 or 12, they will enjoy the experience. I think going in with minimal expectations helped make this an overall good experience.

We took our granddaughter there and were impressed when we walked into the bright and colorful atmosphere, but our opinion quickly changed as we begun to navigate the facility. We began by watching a 4D movie. It started at noon, so we lined up with others a few minutes prior. At five after, still nobody opened the doors. I searched for a staff person (who I found at another station playing with legos). I asked about the movie, to which he replied he would "see if he could get it started". He then went over to the theatre and opened the door and handed out the glasses. One of our pair did not work (it looked the same with or without the glasses-blurry). After that, we tried to do the laser activity-but that wouldn't reset and kept saying there was a session in process. The activity to test your reaction time also only worked to about the 5th try. We decided to get a snack, and my granddaughter wanted milk. The first milk she grabbed had an expiration date three weeks prior. We did do the VR event, which was pretty awesome. We went on the cart rides and had to ask what we were supposed to do. One of the guns to hit the targets did not work, and one that did was wrapped around the safety bar so it took me half the ride to get it untangled. The build workshop had a sign in the window saying to "ask me if you'd like help", but the chair was vacant and no staff member was there. My granddaughter loved the jungle gym and spent a bit of time in there. When we went to the gift shop upon leaving, my granddaughter wanted to make her own lego figure. We got the staff member to help and she told us to go put the box on the red sticker after we purchased it. She didn't explain any of the process - I had to go back three times to get help or ask questions. Although all of the staff were polite and nice, none were really proactive about explaining things or helping. When you've never been there before, it is a bit overwhelming to figure out what to do and where to go as most is not self explanatory. It seems like there should be someone kind of directing people or explaining what the do. I think this could be a very cool place if they had more staff available to assist people. At one point we saw three staff members just standing around talking, but not helping anyone. The 3-hour free parking in the garage was appreciated. Overall, we were pretty disappointed for the price vs. what we experienced. We will most likely not go back.

Great time for kids for sure Do not believe you should charge parents/grandparents the same amount of money For sitting around Need more chairs for sitting watching kids have fun

The lego center removed one of my kids favorite rides It was the wizard bike and he was upset about it. I will not go back unless they bring back the wizard bike.

Deceptive pricing both online and in person. It was also very overpriced! Over $100 for two adults and one kid; Plus there was still more to pay for once inside. Very disappointing!

Too expensive for what it offers, not enough rides, not enough legos to play, kid was disappointed and so was I… DONT BUY THE LEGO MINI BUILD it’s the same model for each ticket (I got stuck with the same model for each ticket) and DONT BUY THE DIGITAL PHOTOS, it’s just 2 pictures…. Please avoid this

I ordered tickets online, but the receipt never arrived. FAQs indicated to call customer support hotline, but did not give a number. So I spent a load of money for tickets I can’t access and no way to get help. Just splendid. So I sent an email requesting help and got an automated reply that they don’t monitor their email daily and it may take up to 48 hours for a reply. Again, not at all helpful when my tickets are supposed to be for the next day. All around, a horrible experience since we never got to get in.
