  Beautiful and definitely worth doing — but you have to accept that you’ll be doing it alongside more than a thousand other tourists. Most people start the hike around 2 AM, so it gets crowded, and there’s often a traffic jam on the way down to the blue fire. Still, it’s quite an experience — a bit dangerous, but the sunrise and the mysterious blue flames make it all worthwhile. Thanks Aprio and team for 6days tour

  Our driver and tour supporter is Mangdut, he is friendly and nice through the trip. He is responsive before all the pick up arrangements and takes care of our needs on the way to Ijen volcano. The Ijen climbing tour guide Olympic is also very professional in both guiding and taking pictures. We are very lucky to witness the blue flame on Ijen mountain even if it’s a rainy day. The climbing up and down does require a good physical strength to achieve. But the scene and experience definitely worth once a lifetime!

  The whole experience was incredible. ALIT is the best guide and driver in Bali. He drove us the whole way and back and ensured we stuck to our itinerary. ECHO is the name of our mountain guide and guided us along the way on the mountain and to the blue lava. Although the blue lava was not as incredible, the views of the sulpheric lake and mountainsides were amazing. The were a lot of tourists so getting around was quite slow. Few things to recommend: because you will have a vehicle the whole trip, bring these items: sunscreen, a fresh change of clothes, swimwear, hiking wear, mosquito repellant, a thick jacket, goggles (only if you have it, if not no worries just do not open your eyes as much when there is sulpheric smoke). The hike is long and steep so be prepared. The rocks and walking surface can be slippery too. But the views during sunrise are incredible. Would definitely recommend

  I had high expectations of the trip and surprisingly they were met! Right from the start they were on time. Ajek my guide was awesome and attentive. We had a great ferry ride and dinner. The hotel was perfect but the biggest thing was the hike and it was insane. The crater and ring of fire is like no other to see with your own eyes. The guide Aji was great and attentive. Funny too! The hike is definitely not easy so keep that in mind. Not difficult but you should be ready to get exercise. Overall, I am so happy with my choice as I used it for my two days and it made the trip!

  From the very beginning of our expedition we felt taken care of by our guide Exbi. Traveling in a comfortable car with access to chilled water, refreshments made the journey pleasant and efficient. A comfortable hotel with a view of the rice fields in the area allows you to start the climb well rested. A night ascent to the volcano, headlamps flashing in the distance, views after sunrise and the blue fire itself, give unforgettable impressions. I highly recommend it.

  Wonderful experience with Forever Vacation and especially with the guide Mang Dut who was very attentive, polite, explaining and safe, everything was already arranged by the company, we didn't need to do anything. From immigration, transportation, overnight hotel, all already paid.

  Wow, what an experience, literally breathtaking. The trail is well worth it, the view is wonderful and the agency provides full support with masks, flashlights, coffee and snacks before starting and water. I had a great guide who took me there with all clear information and brought me back safely, with a safe and comfortable car and a good driver. Oco was an excellent guide too, very knowledgeable and funny. An experience worth doing if you are in Indonesia.
