Great tour guide for Amritsar

5.00We had an amazing experience on this tour. First we went to the evening Palki ceremony where our guide found us the perfect spot to stand. We were not obstructed by a large crowd. This made all of the difference to our experience. On the 2nd part of the tour, I told our guide that cooking food at the Langar (Seva) was something that I had aspired to do for a very long time. He customized our tour to include as much cooking as I wanted to do. He guided us how to get involved and was like a good and knowledgeable friend. The last thing that we wanted to do was to enter the Golden Temple and spend time meditating and appreciating the experience. This was not part of the tour, but our guide gave us some important tips on how to save time in the queue. We estimated that he saved us two hours of waiting by his tips. One last, but important aspect of our tour was that our guide suggested to take a couples photo of my wife and I at various parts of the tour. We were so awed by the spectacle that we were grateful for him suggesting doing photos, because we would have forgotten. This guide is highly recommended.
