  The AOA Polynesian Forest team does exceptional educational work. It was super interesting to understand the difference between native and invasive species and the impact of the latter on the island's biodiversity. In addition to learning, it is a very pleasant walk with explanatory panels and games for children. I recommend it!

  Melanie passionately shares an impressive knowledge of plants and trees, their origins, uses, and the legends that accompany them. The walk is at a pleasant pace, conducive to exchanges, always alive and rewarding. The trail is neat, while remaining natural and authentic. The work carried out by the AOA team, both in restoration and awareness, deserves to be highlighted. An experience faithful to my idea of a hike in the Tahitian forest. Thanks again to the team for their exceptional work and for this shared moment.

  A magnificent walk in the middle of the forest, on a well-appointed course and punctuated by points of interest. A lively and refreshing experience from start to finish, accompanied by a passionate guide. Although plants are highlighted, wildlife is not left out, the valley is also home to different species of birds and insects. One thing is certain: I would be happy to return to see the evolution of the valley. In any case nice project led by AOA Polynesian Forest!!!

  I went solo and joined two other people and our guide Melanie. Melanie is extremely knowledgeable about the plants and trees in the forest, their origins and their uses, even their legends. The pace was relaxed but progressive. The conversation was lively. The earthen trail was well maintained but not manicured. The AOA association should be applauded for the restoration and education they are providing. This was exactly the Tahitian Forest hike that I hoped for.

  A true discovery of biodiversity with passionate guides, I was able to discover the riches of Tahitian nature throughout the day. I was also able to listen and see certain species of birds and discover and eat edible plants.

  Many thanks to the guides for all the richness of their comments and explanations. It was really interesting, I had a pleasant time discovering the Polynesian flora and fauna. In short, an incredible ecological project that thinks about future generations!
