What To Expect
Taos Plaza
タオス・プラザの歴史は1796年にスペイン王が63家族に土地を下賜したことに遡り、タオス・プエブロに次ぐこの地域の主要な入植地となった。 広場は要塞化された村として設計され、大きな四角形の家々や中央の門が配されている。 家畜の避難場所や見本市の拠点となっていた。 多くの建物が焼失する中、現在の広場周辺の建物は1930年代のものがほとんどである。 今やタオス歴史地区の中心であるこの広場では、ライブ音楽やファーマーズマーケットが開催され、ショッピングやギャラリーの人気スポットとなっています。
La Hacienda del los Martinez
1804年に建てられたラ・ハシエンダ・デ・ロス・マルティネスは、スペイン植民地時代のニューメキシコ州北部様式の「グレート・ハウス」の珍しい例である。 かつては貿易の中心地であり、巨大なアドベ壁が特徴で、セベリーノ・マルティネスと妻のマリア、そして著名な神父アントニオ・マルティネスを含む6人の子供が住んでいた。 アントニオ神父は、ニューメキシコ州初の男女共学を創設し、タオスに最初の印刷機を導入した重要な社会改革者であった。 今日、ハシエンダは2つの中庭を囲む21の部屋と伝統工芸のデモンストレーションで1800年代のフロンティアライフを垣間見ることができます。

5.00Michelle did a great job taking us thru the back roads of Taos. We were able to see parts of Taos that we would never have gotten to. The bikes were easy and fun to ride. Highly recommend!

5.00We (2 adults) did the Taos E-Bike Tour along with another group of 3 adults. Overall the bike tour was a pleasant active way to see the sights in Taos (aside from the main plaza), and the ebikes were easy to operate and comfortable to ride. Our guide Diego was great about communicating what to expect before we set off for the next stop.

5.00I booked my bike tour not knowing it would be just my guide (Bonnie) and me. What a treat! She was super knowledgeable, and eagerly shared that with me. It was a beautiful day in Santa Fe and we made the most of it, for sure. Highly recommend this trip...be fair warned - it is 3.5 hrs and you will feel it :

5.00What a way to see Taos!!! Stephanie our Tour Guide was a wealth of information. The 17 miles around Taos hits some incredible places with beautiful architecture, rich history, and endless photo ops. The bike ride was really enjoyable, my first E-Bike experience was top notch. 5.00Had a great time biking all around Taos, New Mexico on some really fast and fun E-Bikes! What a great tour with our guide Diego! He was fantastic! Great historical context about Taos and the route we took to each historical site we visited was well planned. I enjoyed the ride and learned a thing or two along the way. Ends at Taos Cow Angladas for a tasty treat at the end! Very fun! Highly recommend!

5.00I went on the Taos E-Bike Tour with Stephanie and it was simply AMAZING!!! Stephanie gave the group a tutorial on the bikes and made sure everyone felt comfortable. Then, we made so many wonderful stops on our trip around Taos — the Fechin House was a personal fave. The roads we took were beautiful. I felt like I saw so many backroads I had never experienced before. 10/10 would recommend!!! Must do in Taos!!!

5.00This E Bike tour is very organized to share the history of Taos and information about well known artists who lived here in the past and present, museums and church locations. Along the bike route were lovely long bike routes on the outskirts of Taos to see the beauty of the foothills of the mountains. This bike tour is very leisurely as the E Bike technology allows you to decide how much leg effort you want to put forth. Our guide Katrina was excellent with safety awareness and tour guide through the many small stops. This E Bike tour is perfect for a couple, four friends or a larger family as they have 6 bikes overall. It starts and ends within the Taos downtown Plaza which gives you a location to continue your exploration of Taos when finished with the ride.
Wonderful, e-bike tour and wonderful guide.

5.00Had an absolutely wonderful time. The weather was fantastic and the route we took was amazing. Tyler was so informative. I will definitely be recommending this trip to anyone that I know who is coming to Taos.
