  Not only do you get to taste great food you get a great history lesson of Beale St. The knowledge of the tour guide was beyond awesome. She was super sweet and personable. Highly recommend!

  If you do this food tour, go very hungry! There is a lot of food included in it and it’s a nice variety of food that is representative of Memphis. Taylor was our tour guide and was friendly and knowledgeable about all things Memphis. Also important to note that we had one in our party that has a nut and sesame allergy and one who is a vegetarian and it was no problem to accommodate either of them. This tour is a lot of fun and you can purchase alcohol if you’d like but sodas, teas and water are included. Our tour started at 2:00 and finished around 5:00 and we weren’t hungry again until mid morning the next day! If you’re in Memphis we’d recommend this food tour!

  Taylor was excellent! She knew a lot about the area and the food. She had clearly done her research. All of the stops were perfect for getting to learn about Beale Street and the history there.

  Taylor was a phenomenal tour guide. She is so knowledgeable about the area..the history, the food and the music. She took us to some great restaurants . The food was delicious and a wonderful diverse sampling of the area. If you’re looking for a food tour, this is the one to take. Look no further!

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely one of the highlights of our Memphis trip! My mom and I booked the Taste of Downtown Memphis Tour with Tastin’ ’Round Town and had an AMAZING time. Taylor, the owner and our guide, was fantastic — friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Memphis food, music, BBQ culture, and local history. Every stop came with great stories and insider knowledge that made the experience feel authentic and personal instead of touristy. Some of our favorite stops included: 🍔 Dyer’s famous “vitamin G” burgers 🐊 Gumbo at Rum Boogie Cafe 🍗 Smoked dry-rub wings at King’s Palace Cafe 🍖 Ribs at Blues City Cafe 🥤 And dessert at the historic A. Schwab The food was outstanding, the pacing was perfect, and we left completely stuffed and smiling. This tour gave us such a fun way to experience Beale Street, Memphis history, and the city’s incredible food scene all at once.
