  Mui was very helpful and considerate of us during the tour. She made sure we are comfortable and even gave us ponchos to use when it rained unexpectedly.

  I travelled to Singapore in May as a solo traveller and decided to join the Chinatown Walking Tour with Monster Day Tours. It turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip! Our guide, Just, was friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared fascinating stories about Chinatown's history, culture, and hidden gems, making every stop interesting and memorable. As a solo traveller, I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and had a great time exploring with the rest of the group. I also walked away with plenty of recommendations for food and places to visit after the tour. If you're visiting Singapore, I'd definitely recommend this tour. Great value for money and a fantastic way to get to know the city!

  Always thought Chinatown was worth visiting just for the food, but we really learnt so much info abt this place, especially how people lived here in the past. Really interesting, much more worth it exploring chinatown with a guide like this rather than exploring on your own.

  This one was completely different, our guide took us deep into the actual grit of how early Chinese immigrants survived here. It genuinely gives you a whole new perspective on how Singapore went from a rough, chaotic port to what it is today. If you want real history instead of just a photo-op, absolutely do this one.

  We thoroughly enjoyed thetour and what made the experience especially memorable was our guide, who was engaging, knowledgeable and an excellent storyteller. Rather than simply sharing dates and facts, the guide brought the history to life through vivid stories about the hardships, resilience and everyday lives of Singapore’s early immigrants - warm, approachable and happy to answer questions, making everyone feel included throughout the walk. The tour gave us a much deeper appreciation of the people and stories behind the streets and buildings in Singapore. Highly recommended for anyone looking to discover singapore beyond the usual tourist spots.
