午前9時30分にウェリントンのロケーションからお客様をお迎えし、プケルア湾に立ち寄って北へ向かい、カピティ島と海岸線の絶景を捉えます。
ラウマティで迂回してパラパラウムビーチまで海岸を辿り、そこで一瞬立ち止まって海の空気を取り込みます。
その後、国際的に評価の高いサウスワード・カー・ミュージアムへ。ワイカナエビーチの地元で愛されるロングビーチ・カフェで美味しいランチ。
昼食後、ンガ・マヌ保護区を訪れます。この保護区では、自然を体験できるまたとない機会を提供しています。 夜行性のハウスでニュージーランドの珍しいブラウン・キーウィを見たり、ウォークスルー鳥獣舎で在来の鳥に出会うことができます。 絶滅の危機に瀕するナガウナギの餌付けを見学したり、参加したり、在来種のヤモリを見つけたり、古代トゥアタラに近づいたりすることもできます。

5.00Stephen was a terrific guide, providing lots of information and helping us pronounce some of the more difficult area names. We visited the US Marines memorial (Camp Parkakariki), Southward Car Museum, which was fabulous (there was a Cord on display!), the Nga Manu Nature Preserve, had a super lunch, and finished the day at Old St Paul's Church -- the oldest in New Zealand. We saw lots of beautiful countryside in a comfortable Mercedes. This private tour was excellent!
