FNB Stadium
10:00: ホテルからお迎え。 10:30: 最初の停車地は、2010 FIFA ワールドカップのために改装された FNB スタジアムです。スタジアムのデザイン コンセプトは、カラバッシュ、つまりアフリカの鍋です。 この象徴的な 87,436 席のスタジアムは、南アフリカ最大の会場であり、ヨハネスブルグ南部のナスレックにあるこの国が誇る世界最大の巨大スタジアムです。FNB スタジアムのユニークなデザインは、国際的に高く評価されています。2010 年に初めて開催されたアフリカ ワールドカップに合わせて再建されたため、このスタジアムは「カラバッシュ」または「アフリカの鍋」として親しまれることがよくあります。以前はサッカー シティとして知られていたこのスタジアムは、1990 年にネルソン マンデラ元大統領が 27 年間服役した刑務所から釈放された数日後に行われた最初の演説に始まり、歴史的なイベントの中心地となっています。この会場では、この国でこれまで開催された中で最も大規模なスポーツや音楽イベントが開催されてきました。ビヨンセ、ジェイ・Z、ジャスティン・ビーバーなどのパフォーマンスも含まれています。

5.00Our tours with Zandile were incredibly flexible to our needs on the day on site. On all tours we were picked up, all our questions answered in exciting conversations, where meaningfully accompanied or provided for a suitable guide on site, food breaks built in, ... Conclusion: We hope to show Zandile something of our homeland.

5.00In our two week holiday in Pretoria/Joburg we did three full-day tours with wonderful Zandi! - Tour to the elephant and monkey sanctuary - Soweto tour - Newtown/ Forsberg tour. Zandi was so welcoming, caring and flexible. Even the kids, whose English isn't so good yet, found it easy to talk to her. When one of our girls fell ill, she went out of her way to get her medicine and make her feel better. On the Soweto tour, we were able to visit a traditional healer and walk through Kliptown led by one of its citizens. Zandi went shopping with us and was just so relaxed - it felt like a day out with friends, not a guided tour. We never once had the impression that we were on a time limit, instead we were back at the hotel two hours late, dull of new fantastic impressions. On the third tour, Zandi spontaneously changed the tour to incorporate the Science Centre to make the whole day more fun for our kids and teenagers, which was just a brilliant choice. During all of the tours, Zandi provided interesting background information which were often linked to her personal or family's past, making the experience and history more accessible to us. I can wholeheartedly recommend Zandi's tour to all families who would like to experience the real Joburg!

5.00Solo traveled with my tween. Our South Africa trip was absolutely incredible! Everything was well-organized and thoughtfully planned with the utmost consideration for preferences discussed. Our guide, Zandi, ensured we felt safe and taken care of at all times including in Cape Town. The attention to detail was impeccable, and it truly became one of the highlights of our entire journey. My young travel companion didn’t want to leave…Highly recommend!

5.00We had a fantastic 2 days with Jazz. He showed us all the great (and not so great) sights of Soweto and Johannesburg giving us a much deeper understanding and appreciation for the South African history. It was fascinating to learn from a different viewpoint. Zandi at Aahaah Tours was also super accommodating and tailor made a 2 day tour for us to fit into museum closures around a public holiday and our schedule. I highly recommend these guys!

5.00On my recent trip to South Africa, I went on the Historical and Cultural Interactive Experience of Soweto with my boyfriend, and it was a highlight of our trip! A friend recommended this tour, and we are so glad they did. From start to finish, Zandile, our guide, made the day absolutely unforgettable. She was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly and accommodating, customizing the tour to match our interests. Our adventure began with a visit to the iconic Soccer City Stadium, a stunning structure with rich ties to South African culture and sports history. From there, we explored Soweto, where Zandile facilitated genuine interactions with locals. We had the unique opportunity to visit their homes and share some gifts, which made the experience even more meaningful and personal. The historical portion of the tour was equally compelling. We visited the Hector Pieterson Museum and Mandela House, both of which offered profound insights into Soweto’s role in South Africa’s history. For lunch, we stopped at Smokeville, where we indulged in smoked chicken, ribs, and Braai Snoek. Every bite was delicious and the perfect way to recharge before continuing our day. To wrap up the experience, Zandile went out of her way to accommodate our request to be dropped off in Sandton for some shopping. This extra effort on her part really stood out and exemplified her outstanding service. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Johannesburg. It’s a fantastic mix of history, culture, and local flavors. And if you’re lucky enough to have Zandile as your guide, you’re in for an exceptional experience!

5.00What an excellent 2 days we spent with Zandi. She was informative and went a little off the beaten track. She listened to our needs and what we wanted to see and then was able to show us the best of J’burg. The history, Mandala and the future of J’burg. Aahaah tours were flexible and if we ever return we will definitely look up Aahaah tours again.

5.00My wife and I had a great time in Soweto. Zandi our tour guide did a great job to show us Soweto and to make sure we got all the info about it. I can recommend this tour. You will see the highlights of Soweto such as the old house of Nelson Mandela, Hector Pieterson museum and many more.
