  We had an absolutely amazing private day in Sintra with Miguel, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From the very beginning, Miguel went above and beyond to make the day special, comfortable, and memorable for our family. Our day included the magical Park and National Palace of Pena, the incredible Quinta da Regaleira, the breathtaking cliffs of Cabo da Roca, and beautiful Cascais. Miguel made every stop feel meaningful and perfectly paced. He shared wonderful stories, local insight, and helpful historical context, while also giving us time to enjoy each place without ever feeling rushed. What made the day especially memorable was Miguel’s kindness, flexibility, and attention to detail. Traveling as a family, it meant so much to have someone who was thoughtful, patient, and genuinely cared about making the experience special for everyone. Sintra is already a magical destination, but Miguel made it unforgettable. From Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira to Cabo da Roca and Cascais, every part of the day was beautifully planned and full of wonderful memories. We are so grateful for the care he put into the experience and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a truly personal, memorable, and exceptional private tour.

  Our private tour experience was above and beyond our expectations. Miguel was an incredible tour guide – thoughtful, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoyable to spend the day with. He tailored the day to our interests, and put in extra effort to ensure we had time to see everything we hoped to see during our time in Sintra. The day was seamless and so very memorable, and Miguel's passion for the area and Portuguese history really stood out to us. We got to see so much more than we would have been able to on our own, and learned so much along the way. By the end of the day, we felt like Miguel had become a new friend. We highly recommend this experience, especially with Miguel as your guide. It was easily one of the best days of our trip!

  Perfect way to explore Sintra with kids at a leisurely pace. Our tour guide Miguel is the best, do not hesitate to ask for him if you have kids. Even my 3 yr old had a great time and was entertained despite all the walking through the palaces. Everything was planned seamlessly, from the pickup with the requested carseat to navigating through the hectic lines at the sites (no wait is a plus and a must if you have little ones!). Stoping in Caiscais briefly for the beach and gelato at Santini was also a plus. We truly felt VIP with this experience.

  I’ll start by saying I’ve generally had middling experiences with tour guides. Often they can be too heavy handed, too serious, too tedious. But all I can say is Medhi is far and away the best guide I’ve ever had. He drove us around the beautiful mountainside of Sintra for over 9 hours, taking us to every major site, and explaining the rich history and hidden lore of each place we visited with passion, humor, and intrigue. We came away from this experience far more knowledgeable than when we went in, and in the process by the end we felt like we made a close friend. If you’re looking for a guide on your trip through Portugal, I would not book anyone else. Thank you Medhi for the truly special experience! Highly highly recommend.

  My husband, daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour in early May. Our tour guide. Miguel, is a local and was very knowledgeable about the area and its history, and gave us plenty of interesting information about places visited. The day was well-organised so that we were able to visit Sintra old town, Pena Palace, Quinta de Regaleira, Cabo da Roca and Cascais without feeling rushed. I had some mobility issues at that time and I appreciated Miguel’s thoughtulness and assistance getting in and out of the car, and making sure I was comfortable throughout. When he learned that we were heading for Porto the next day, he even sent us a personalised list of spots to check out, which we found very helpful. I highly recommend this tour and Miguel as a guide.
