Appealing Song Kwae Skywalk Bridge, Kanchanaburi, Thailand The Kanchanaburi Skywalk (Song Kwae) was known to build during pandemic COVID time. It is said to have a 150-meter-long, 12-meter-high glass-bottomed walkway built along the Kwai River and where the three rivers of Kanchanaburi, Mae Klong, Phachi and Kwai Yai rivers meet. Best time to visit is at the sunset as it offers scenic sunset views, or in the morning to avoid daytime high temperature. From the Skywalk, the visitors can admire a 60 year-old Maharat Hall on the city side and three rivers on the left. In addition to the skywalk a pedestrian street runs along the bank of the Kwai Yai river providing visitors with a public space to stroll, and relax. This is one of the sites that can be combined in half-a day trip to experience the spiritual, scenic, and modern, architectural highlights of the Kanchanaburi region in Thailand. Its glass design provides panoramic views that make a must-not miss spot for tourists interested in visiting Kanchanaburi, Thailand. We had a great day tour with tour guide May. May and our driver,„Mister Watermelon“, did their best to make it a complete success and to make everything happen in the appropriate time.
