Cardrona

Wanaka
ワナカ ツリーの象徴的な写真を撮るために、湖畔まで散歩します。マウント アスパイアリングとサザン アルプスを背景にした、写真家にとっての楽園ともいえるこの広大な湖の美しさを満喫してください。
Lake Hawea
雄大なクルーサ川を渡り、美しいハウェア湖を過ぎて西へ向かいます。ワナカ湖とハウェア湖の間にある展望台でちょっと立ち止まって写真を撮ります。
Thunder Creek Falls
5 分の簡単な散歩で、サンダー クリーク滝の素晴らしい景色を堪能できます。高さ 28 メートルのこの滝は、かつて巨大だった氷河の名残で、谷底から流れ落ちています。
ここで Hard Antler に立ち寄り、45 分間ランチを楽しみます。
Ship Creek Walks
古代の熱帯雨林と海が出会う境界線に沿って北へ向かう途中、シップ クリークに立ち寄ります。砂に足を入れて、タスマン海の容赦ない波の打ち寄せる音を感じてください。1 km の簡単なウォーキング コースで砂丘を散策しましょう。
Bruce Bay
ここでは、密集した原生熱帯雨林と、果てしなく広がる海が出会います。ブルース ベイはまさに西海岸の最高の魅力を体感できる場所です。
Lake Matheson Walk
写真家なら誰もが夢見るマセソン湖へ向かいます。穏やかな日には、この絵のように美しい湖に映るマウント クックを撮影できます。4.4 km、90 分のこの簡単な散歩では、南アルプスの息を呑むような景色を堪能できます。
Franz Josef
フォックス氷河を過ぎて目的地のフランツ ジョセフまで行く途中、多くの氷河川を通過します。ガイドがフランツ ジョセフまたはフォックス氷河の中心にある宿泊施設までお連れします。翌日クライストチャーチへ向かう場合は、ガイドがホテルまでお迎えに上がり、旅を続けます。

Franz Josef
2日目はフランツ・ジョセフの宿泊施設からのピックアップから始まります。
ランセ湖には、ニュージーランドで最大の個体数を誇る絶滅危惧種のカンムリカイツブリなど、多種多様な湿地鳥が生息しています。湖は氷河の谷間に位置し、モレーンに囲まれ、イアンセ クリークを通ってワンガヌイ川に流れ込みます。ここでちょっと立ち止まって「わぁ」や「わぁ」と感嘆しましょう。
Hokitika
ホキティカに着いたら、きっと懐かしさを感じる、ゆったりとした雰囲気を体験してください。 黒い砂と険しい海岸線が交わるホキティカのワイルドビーチを散策する時間。 ガイドは、この「クールな町」を楽しむために必要な時間と、その魅力のちょっとしたティーザーを提供します。
Hokitika Gorge Walk
ホキティカ渓谷は、その印象的なターコイズブルーの水が別世界の美しさを放ち、常に畏敬の念を抱かせる貴重な宝石です。豊かな原生林に囲まれたこの魅惑的な渓谷は、そのユニークなエッセンスと忘れられない景色を写真に収めようと集まる自然愛好家や写真家を魅了しています。
Greymouth
ここでランチにストップ。セットメニューから自由にお選びいただけます。 ニュージーランド南島の中心に位置するグレイマウスは、人口約14,000人の西海岸地域最大の町です。 鏨が生い茂る崖の頂上、野生のビーチ、絵のように美しいグレイバレーに囲まれたこの魅力的な目的地は、美しいスポットそのものだけでなく、有名なトランツアルパイン鉄道サービスを介して接続するための重要なハブでもあります。
Cobden Beach
コブデンは、南端に岩の防波堤があるビーチブレイクで、その構造物にぶつかって砕ける目立つ波を生み出します。この絵のように美しいスポットは、息を呑むような写真を撮ること間違いなしの素晴らしい背景があり、写真家の楽園です。
Otira Viaduct Lookout
デス コーナーとしても知られています。オティラ高架橋展望台は、国立公園の壮麗な景色を一望できる素晴らしいスポットです。この橋があるからこそ、アーサーズ パスを車で通ることができます。長さ 440 メートルの巨大な橋で、橋と周囲の風景を写真に撮るには最高のスポットです。ちょっとしたボーナスとして、ニュージーランドのこっそりしたアルプスのオウム、チーキー ケアが見られるかもしれません。その後、アーサーズ パスの美しい村に向けて次の冒険に乗り出します。
途中、雄大な南アルプスの美しい背景を間近に見ることができます。到着後は、デビルズ パンチ ボウルを散策したり、地元のお店で時間を過ごしたりすることができます。
Devils Punchbowl Walking Track

5.00I'm not sure whether we were just lucky on our trips but we went on two trips with Cheeky Kiwi and both trips only had a handful of travellers. This led to very relaxed, informal, and flexible trips, greatly enhanced by the tour guides (special shout-outs to Lynette and Martin), who were both absolutely fantastic. We could really pick our stops, side trips and timing, which was great. I suspect that whether there were 5 people or 12, these guides would still ensure that you felt special and do their best to be flexible.

5.00This was a great way to see lots of different sites and enjoy the country while someone else does the driving. Sadly for us the weather didn't cooperate with us on the second day, with rain and wind causing some of the walks to be cancelled. We were all okay with that. Both our guides, Colin on the first leg and Logan on the second, were fun, personable, and informative. Would definitely recommend.

5.00We spent 3 weeks in NZ. Why fly from Queenstown to Christchurch, when you can see the sights on along the road! This was a great way to see more of NZ. There were about 8 of us in the journey. We had many different stops that weren't just hop out for a picture. We got to spend time to go along some hiking trails/treks. The first half was to Franz Joseph with Jonathan. He was full of dad jokes and was terrific. At Franz Joseph, we were picked up by Joel for the 2nd half of the journey. Joel was young but he was easy going and had some great local information. He'll pickup some dad jokes later. The only thing I would change in this trip would be to allow us at least one full day at Franz Joseph. We arrived there about dinner time, with very little time before the sunset.... then we left Franz Joseph bright and early at 8am the next day. It was such a beautiful place and a shame that we couldn't explore the place. Since it is a new guide and 2nd part of the journey, Cheeky Kiwi could have picked up a day later, allowing us to explore Franz Joseph for a day. No tour guide would be needed. All in all, this was a great road trip!
Great Tour option for those who don't want to drive themselves.

It takes you from one province to another and includes visits to worthwhile scenic spots along the way, offering opportunities for hiking and getting close to nature. The driver also provides plenty of local information and interesting anecdotes. It's an excellent tour choice, and I highly recommend it to all travelers who prefer not to drive. Though it's marketed as a two-day tour, it's actually two separate day tours combined, with two different driver-guides.

5.00Fantastic experience over 2 days with our guides Holly and Joel that takes you to a large proportion over the west coast and also various mountains. Incredible views are offered all along the trip with live commentary from the guides that cover history, geography, wildlife, amongst other things. The trip is set up as two separate tours so you have the opportunity to meet new people on each day, albeit some people do both days. Highly recommend!

5.00This trip was excellent, just what worked for me travelling on my own.... The group was small so lots of personal interaction with guides and along the travelers. The stops along the way we're interesting and the guides provided excellent infhionraí and support. They catered for all levels of mobility with humour and patience. The pick ups were extremely prompt and efficient. A special word of praise to our excellent guides, Rosie and Lynette!!
