  Gore Canyon is amazing and Liquid Descents provides great guides to make the trip as safe as possible. This trip is not for the timid. You'll need to perform a swim test to qualify and paddle hard to have the best experience. But you'll be rewarded by the most exciting whitewater! They will have great photos and a video to document your day at the end.

  My husband & I love rafting - this was probably my ~15th commercial trip (locations worldwide) and Liquid Descent is one of the best operations anywhere. They are organized, friendly, and safety-focused without taking the fun out of it. I also appreciated that wetsuits were included in our trip cost rather than being nickel & dimed separately. The Gore Canyon trip (you're aiming for 1150+ cfs if you want the adrenaline spike, we went at 1170) is a great day out. Really gorgeous scenery in the canyon with that "forever wild" feel and possible wildlife sightings. The rapids, unsurprisingly, are fun. We had a group of 17, which was 4 rafts of 4-5 each, plus a safety raft, safety kayaker, and photo kayaker. So with all the extra hands, you can understand why the day out is a bit pricey (though money well spent!). The swim test looks more intimidating than it really is, and TBH if you can't complete it, it is really for your own good that you don't go any farther. Do expect a roughly 3-mile paddle before you get into the canyon and rapids. We had a Gatorade break on the river bank at about 12:45 (3hr 45min after start time) - there really isn't anywhere to pull over and get out of the boat before that. My only complaint is that lunch is served at the takeout rather than during the trip itself and because it was a hot lunch (fajitas), it took a long amount of time to set up and cook (nothing was sliced or prepped in advance). Frankly I would've been happier grabbing a granola bar on the shuttle ride back and doing lunch on my own. Definitely make sure you have a WARM change of clothes waiting for you on the bus to change because otherwise you'll be sitting in a damp wetsuit outside for a long time. That area is known for wind. Highly recommended.

  Very Professional Operation. Friendly, easy going, well trained, well equipped, competant team members. Its a hella trip, no joke with several class V evolutions. I strongly recommend this outfit if you want to experience a challenging and beautiful river rafting trip. Our guide Jordan is a true professional, he's excellent in the water and brings out the best in the folks in his boat. Wonderful time and fantastic memories.

  Best rafting experience I’ve ever had! The guides were excellent and the safety crew really gave us all assurance that everything would go off without a hitch — and it did. I definitely intend to do this river again with Liquid Descent.

  This was one of the best days of my life. It was the last trip of the season and the guides made it worthwhile. My girlfriend didn’t have much rafting experience so she wasn’t sure if she was gonna have a good time, but she had the best time of her life. From beginning to end, the process was easy, seamless and enjoyable… This place should be a national landmark. You can’t go wrong planning a trip at the Kremlin location location in Gore Canyon.   Probably the best one day commercial rafting trip out there, but not for the faint hearted. Rapids are difficult with one portage. Need to pass two swim tests at beginning of Gore Canyon. One swim test is swimming under boat, the other one is Class 2 rapid swim. They will fail you, if so you walk 3 miles back to Kremmling. Brett, the guide knew his stuff and placed the raft where it needed to be. Highly recommend Liquid Descent for Gore Canyon which is absolutely beautiful. Enjoy the scenery while you are there

  A trip down Gore Canyon will not disappoint!!! Tunnel Falls will have you reminiscing about this trip for years to come. Liquid Descent’s professional guides are top-notch and will ensure you are fully experience Gore Canyon in all its fast-paced rapids and scenic beauty. At the end of this trip, they displayed the greatest act of hospitality I have experienced from a rafting company: a full fajita spread, drinks, and sweet treats. Overall, Liquid Descent is first-class and delivers a value unrivaled in the industry.

  Liquid Descent has an amazing staff, we were out with Eddie and he was fantastic. We took the kids on the upper Colorado half day trip. The Kids, and us Adults had a great time, and Eddie was the icing on the cake. This rafting trip was more like an adventure trip, so much spontaneity along the way. We very much recommend going with Liquid Descent.
