  Would highly recommend this tour if visiting Carcassonne. Diego gave really clear instructions on how to ride these vintage Solex and took us for a test drive before exiting the town and exploring country lanes through the wine fields circling the medieval city and castle. Great views and beautiful scenery. We went on a day the vineyards were closed but this didn’t matter as Diego took us to an excellent 1790s building and wine shop. Fabulous wines tasted then back to base. We all had so much fun we’d happily have gone again if we’d had the time.

  An experience not to be missed in Carcassonne! We had booked the tour accompanied by brunch. Diego welcomed us to his local where he introduced us to the solex and give all the necessary explanations for the smooth running of our outing. Once the machines were in hand, we attacked our ride. A stop in the city to enjoy brunch, hearty and served with a smile by the owner of the premises. During our outing, Diego gave us a bunch of anecdotes and historical explanations. We shared a great time and were able to discover Carcassonne in an atypical way. It was a very good experience for all of us. Thank you Diego and good luck!

  Diego super guide and nice. Unusual corner tour with magnificent views of the city. The atypical solex ride is incredible with wine tasting at the end of the route. I recommend ++++

• A Perfect Day in Carcassonne – Wine, History & Solex Adventure!

  We booked the Vineyard Solex Tour and had the most wonderful time! Riding vintage Solex bikes 10 miles out of Carcassonne to the Villa Blanche Vineyards was an unforgettable experience. The ride itself was fun and unique, with just the right mix of adventure and scenery, and the wine tasting was exceptional (six wines, all of which we loved!). Riding back with panniers full of bottles felt like the perfect ending to the day. Our guide, Diego, was outstanding – knowledgeable, helpful, and above all patient with us as complete Solex novices. He made the whole experience smooth, safe, and full of laughs. This was hands down one of the best tours we’ve ever done, and we can’t recommend it highly enough!

  What a beautiful idea that consists of taking tourists to discover Carcassonne by Velosolex! The formulas offered are great and allowed us to drive through the vineyards and splendid landscapes, discover the city in another light, brunch and taste very good wines on the winemaker's land. Day and night we appreciated the sympathy capital that solex arouses among pedestrians during our passage. Do not go through Carcassonne without testing this beautiful and original discovery of our heritage!
