We had a blast hearing all the stories behind the facade of the old buildings. It was truly a pleasure to meet someone who knows so much about Kingston and Canadian history. He even referred to our aboriginal roots which were also quite remarkable. Overall, a great experience!

Took a walk, Fri September 29th, with Arthur Milnes. He gave us a fantastic historical of "old" Kingston; he knows where the bodies are buried! I would recommend this tour for anyone visiting Kingston, even for a short time. I've lived here for 40yrs and he gave info I'd never heard of! Fun time was had by all.

We did the walk with Arthur Milnes and 20 of our fellow walkers. It was interesting and informative. Little bits of humour and stories of famous Canadians and their part in creating Kingston. Enjoyed the facts about St. George's Cathedral. Mr. Milnes shared some of the many careers he had which was extremely interesting. The hour just slipped away so quickly. Thoroughly enjoyed it and saw and heard about parts of Kingston I didn't know.

Arthur knows a lot about Kingston and having him share his experiences with politicians made the walk more interesting. The only comment I had is that the tour was too short - we knew it was an hour and it ended up longer. But would have loved to have more stops on the tour to learn more about the city. We were lucky with the weather.

I took a group of 20 people from my walking club on Arthur Milnes tour on September 29 and I received a lot of positive feedback. The participants said he was very interesting, it was a fantastic tour, he was the best presenter they had ever been on a tour with. A couple of people purchased his book. The tour was supposed to be about an hour, but it ended up being an hour and twenty minutes. He was very gracious and answered questions (and there were LOTS) at the end of the walk. It was such a treat to get a tour of the Frontenac Club as well. A few of us stayed for a drink at the bar and Arthur stayed and chatted with us and signed a book. Thanks very much for a terrific tour, Arthur!

His own experiences rather than Kingston's history! I took the tour with about 20 members of my group walk in last week of September 2023. I expected to hear at least the highlights of Kingston history. However, Mr. Arthur talked mostly about his meetings and experiences with some of the American and Canadian politicians that has little to do with history of Kingston ! The tour ended in a luxury hotel with very expensive drinks ! The tour cost me about $ 30. If I knew that what the tour was really about, I would have had a pizza in a pizza store with wooden oven and enjoyed my evening ! I would not recommend this tour to any body. I would suggest to Mr. Arthur to take the Kingston Medical Museum tour which might help him to modify the content of his tour.

I would highly recommend the walking tour with Arthur Milne. Arthur was more than knowledgeable about the history of Kingston, which included many interesting facts on various historical politicians in the area and a unique visit to a former "gentlemen's club." We are seniors, my husband and myself, and never considered to be history buffs. Oddly, for us, We have been intrigued with Kingston and the amazing part it has played in our role as Canada. During our walk around the central area of Kingston, Arthur was very informative and an excellent communicator. He was definitely the type of teacher to entice others to explore and enjoy its historical background. Amongst the many wonderful stories of Kingston and its history, We also came away with the understanding that history is just that, the story of a time past, and how it is changing. The fact that in 100 years, the actions of today will also be part of the history lessons for the next Generations . Thanks Arthur. Very much appreciated.
