5.00We really enjoyed our day. Selwyn was a great tour guide. He added a lot of local knowledge of the area and took us to several points of interest. Would highly recommend it! Really enjoyed the local breweries and would highly recommend it!!

5.00My wife and I did the full day craft beer tour with John and had the best day of our trip. John picked us up from the hotel and we headed north out of Wellington to see some sights before hitting Boneface Brewery at Brewtown for our first tasting of the exceptional craft beer scene in Wellington. Lunch at Panhead and then onto Parrot Dog and finishing up at Garage Project. On the journey John's knowledge of the local area is fantastic and he showed us sights we would never have found on our own. This "at your own pace" tour was an absolute must for the craft beer lover. Thanks John!

5.00Craft beer on St. Paddy's Day--of course! I wanted something special for my Irish husband, and this tour in Wellington was fantastic. We did not expect it to be a private tour, but rather a small group. As it turned out, it was us and Guide Tim, who was doing his first brewery tour. He showed us about town as we went from place to place, which included 4 to 6 breweries, depending on how much time one wanted to spend at each. We started at Parrotdog in Lyall Bay, tasting everything on their tap wall, and then had a personalized tour with the owner at Kereru in Upper Hutt. There we tried all their tap beers, as well as their bottled seaweed ale. We spent a minimum of 45 minutes at each brewery, as the hosts were so nice and informative, which meant that we visited 4 during the course of the day, factoring in travel time. We had a delicious lunch at Boneface Brewery, but the aromas of smoked meats at Panhead Brewery were driving us wild, despite our lunch. All tastings, brewery tours, and lunch were included in the tour, so consider that when you check the pricing. Tim and Capital made our day very special and thoroughly enjoyable.
