Hallstatt is a Must !

4.00This was a great excursion to Halstatt. Manfred was our guide/driver. We stopped at Lake Fuschl, viewed St Gilgen and Lake Wolfgang from a great viewpoint and then spent 3 hours in Hallstatt. Manfred pointed out a hotel restaurant with a nice lakeside terrace which we really enjoyed. We could have spent only 2 hours in Hallstatt and 1 hour in Saint Wolfgang but we chose 3 hours in Hallstatt so that we could enjoy lunch and really walk around. We loved Hallstatt! Manfred had given us instructions for taking the ferry across the lake to Obertraun and at what time. It was a great idea; the scenery was stunning! He was waiting for us at the dock in Obertraun as promised. Manfred was born and raised in Salzburg so he was able to give us the real flavour of the place regarding how locals live. I have only one quibble and I'd only deduct a 1/2 point if I had a choice. He came and got us at our hotel in Salzburg but then we had to wait for him for at least ten minutes outside a nearby shop while he did personal business. Then it happened again at Lake Fuschl where he decided to buy his lunch. Otherwise, he was very personable and it was a great day. I would highly recommend this excursion.

5.00Started with a no fuss booking with Manfred who gave the good advise to start at 9am rather than 10am to capture as much daylight. Patrick our guide was fun, informative and accomodative. Took us to local detours to see a waterfall and gave us lots of little tips along the way. Would highly recommend.

5.00Me and family ws in Saltzburg for short holidays. Well we booked the tours through MCM Tours, well i would say they e perfect guides and drivers. Ms Lina who drove us fron Saltzburg to Hallstart she did a good job. Shoed us nd explained us everything that we need to know. I would strongly recomend MCM Tours bravo well done and thanks for the wonderful time we had there. Keep it up guys. Lina thanks

5.00Our tour guide and driver, Manfred Fussl, was superb! He possesses and imparted a deep knowledge of the country, it's people, it's history, and social trends. It was our pleasure to share the day with him in the spectacular backdrop of Hallstatt and other cities on the way.
