5.00A country is its people, its food, and its stories. If you have the opportunity to book a food tour with Maria you’ll have an unforgettable time getting an introduction to the history of Warsaw and the influences of climate and culture on Polish cuisine. Through the lens of her family story, you’ll appreciate a very personalized account of Poland’s fight for survival and its reconstruction after WWII. The country’s rebirth is exemplified by a rebuilt Old Town where you’ll explore the different flavors and textures of Polish food and enjoy Maria’s rich knowledge of a place and a people she truly calls her own. Our family had a tremendous afternoon with her. I’ll echo this dual warning: come hungry and pace yourselves!

5.00This was Maria’s first food tour of 2026. She took the slow winter months off. Maria is a native of Warsaw and her family has been in Poland for 800 years. In addition to taking us to some great food, she showed us how Warsaw rebuilt itself following the Second World War. I have been on a lot of food tours over the years and this is the best I’ve ever had in terms of quantity of food, personal connection with the tour guide and a history lesson. Let Maria show you around. You won’t regret it.

5.00Great experience!! Walking the streets, tasting amazing food and a wonderful tour guide. The group size was perfect to connect with other travelers and our tour guide had a connection with the past and was able to share detailed stories of the area! A+!!! Can’t wait to do the “Pierogie and More” cooking class next time we visit!
Warsaw in 3 hours

5.00We only had 2 days in Warsaw and wanted a quick introduction of this city. Our tour guide Maria, was very knowledge and had photos to show us historical Warsaw pre and post WW2 so we can compare with what we see. In addition, there was loads of traditional food, so much that we could not eat dinner in the evening! Highly recommended for a dose of Warsaw in a short time.

5.00The tour was outstanding! On the one hand the food was fantastic and varied, on the other hand we learned a lot about the old town and its history. You can really tell that Mary is passionate about it and knows her way around. The small group size (maximum 10, there were four of us) was also very pleasant!

5.00This was an excellent food tour. It gave us the flavour of Poland with local and national history. The guide was charming and made the tour very personal and interesting. She had pictures to illustrate the changes to the area and delightful stories from her own history. Recommended without a single doubt.

5.00Maria warned us to come hungry and that was with good reason. We had a wonderful exploration of Warsaw and it's culinary history with stories and histories behind every single dish as we made our way around the city. It wasn't just about food, Maria had so much to share about the city and her own family's place in it and I think my trip to Warsaw was so much richer for my experience!

5.00Maria is a brilliant guide, adding personal touches from her family history & homemade food & drink to the tour. We chose to do a food tour to experience the traditional side of Polish food & learn some history about Warsaw - both boxes were ticked. There were just 5 of us in the tour which was highly beneficial. You see lots of bigger tour groups in Warsaw but Maria provides an intimate experience so we felt like we were being shown around the city by a family friend (with the best local knowledge!) The food she chose to introduce us to was very meaningful, we ended the tour with full bellies & lots of knowledge about Polands history & how that relates to food. Truly a wholesome experience - highly recommend!
