このプライベート日帰りツアーでは、第二次世界大戦の最も重要な戦いの1つであるバルジの戦いの歴史を掘り下げます。
一日の始まりはルクセンブルク米軍墓地と記念碑の見学です。 戦後まもなく亡くなったパットン将軍自身も、彼の意向によりここに埋葬されている。
そこからルクセンブルク国立軍事史博物館までツアーは続きます。 この博物館は、第二次世界大戦を知る上でルクセンブルクでも屈指の博物館とみなされている。
次にパットン率いる第3軍が1944年のクリスマスの日に解放したエッテルブルックのパットン将軍記念館へ。
さらに北へ向かうと、バルジの戦いの重要な場所である「シューマンゼック記念トレイル」を訪れる。
トレイルをハイキングした後、ツアーはバストーニュへと進み、バストーニュ戦争博物館、第二次世界大戦記念碑、戦争部屋などを見学します。
1日の終わりに、ホテルまでお送りします。

Luxembourg American Cemetery Memorial

5.00Educational. Prepare to see a lot of memorials and wreckage from WW2. We could relate to soldiers freezing on Christmas morning. Ken was a fine and knowledgeable guide.

5.00Tour was amazing! Ken was completely accommodating and included everyone’s interests for the day’s journey with the family. Surreal and somber to finally visit some of the significant WWII sites.
