  We are a family of 6 of origin Vietnamese Canadians, also American. It’s our first time ever to visit Đồng Bằng sông Cửu Long or Mékong Delta. We’ve learned of Maika Tour via Facebook, and have decided to take the 2D1N tour. Our tour guide, Long who is kind and knowledgeable about different neighborhood and some ancient anecdotes of Saigon, also of Mékong Delta. We’ve learned so much about different hands on technique on making Banh Xèo to pottery… Lunch was provided on the first day of the tour and was more than enough to fill us up, and also delicious. Maika tours or Long was really helpful paying attention to food allergies of one of members of our group ( that’s the reason why we took this private tour) and we are really grateful for that. • Best way to visit the Mekong!

  We were picked up at our hotel in Saigon and had a comfortable ride. We were taken to a private boat and took that along with our guide Hương to see locals make coconut candy, puffed rice, and pottery. We stopped for lunch at a local homestay and had an amazing and fresh meal which consisted of a whole local fish which they used to make spring rolls right in front of us. We then docked and were taken by our private driver to our hotel for the evening. Of the spots they suggested we stayed at Legacy Mekong and it was very relaxing. The next morning we took a private boat again to the floating markets and saw how rice noodles are made. On our boat we were able to get breakfast from a lady selling noodle soup from her boat. The whole experience gave us deeper look and appreciation of the culture. Our guide was the highlight.

  Awesome two day tour! Great travel accommodations, experienced local culture without it feeling too touristy. L Our guide, Long, was super friendly and knowledgeable. The morning floating market was an incredible experience!!

  This tour was a truly unforgettable experience from start to finish! The 2-Day Mekong Delta and Floating Markets Private Tour was the perfect way to explore the heart of southern Vietnam, and having Sunny as our guide made it even more special — he’s simply the best! Everything was perfectly organized. The private boat ride through the Mekong was peaceful and scenic, and rowing through the small canals was an incredible, immersive experience — like stepping into a postcard. We loved every moment of it. One of the highlights was the amazing homestay. It was warm, welcoming, and gave us a real taste of local life. Meeting and visiting with local families made the experience so much more personal and meaningful. The food was fresh and delicious, and the hospitality was second to none. Sunny was outstanding — full of energy, knowledge, and kindness. He shared so much insight into the culture, traditions, and daily life of the Mekong Delta, always making sure we were comfortable and having a great time. His passion for his work and love for his country truly shine through. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a deeper, more authentic experience in Vietnam.   Very interesting tour for two days in the Mekong Delta. Very varied. Our guide Tan looked after us very well. Private tour is absolutely beneficial to escape the many tourists.

  In my three trips to Vietnam (2010, 2020 and 2024), I opted for a two-day trip to the Mekong Delta all three times. This time, however, Maika Tours exceeded my expectations. The rest of the group (8 memberes) also told me that this was the best part of our 17 day tour of Vietnam. Our guide, mr. Tien looked after us every step of the way and showed exceptional knowledge of the places and history. We are able to see real Mekong delta and took a lot of beautiful photos and memories. I sincerely thank Maika Tours for the fantastic, rich program of the two-day trip to the Mekong Delta.

  We took this tour the first day we arrived in Vietnam. Tien, our guide, picked us up directly at the airport and we started with the tour right away. On the first day we sailed on the river, passing through villages and uncontaminated nature. On the second day we saw the floating market and took a bike tour through the villages of the delta. It was a unique and unforgettable experience! Tien was amazing and made us fall in love with Vietnam from the first moment. Highly recommended tour!

  Maika travel is a top notch local operator . We organized with them a 10 days trip between Hcmc the delta of Mekong and con dao islands . Everything was perfect the guides and the vehicles and the quality of the food . communication with mr giang was excellent . Really excellent

  I highly recommend Maika Tours! I requested an LGBT friendly guide and was so fortunate to get to work with Candy. The tour was awesome. I saw and experienced so many different aspects of life in the Mekong Delta in a very short time - different kinds of boats, delicious food, the floating market in Can Tho, and more. The entire experience was seamless; so professional, friendly, and well organized. The Maika Tours team went above and beyond to make this a great trip. I highly recommend working with them!

  We went on this tour, two families of four, with children aged 9-12 years old. We were really happy with it and highly recommend. It was perfectly organised and included being on Mekong Delta on boat, small canoes, cycling, eating fantastic lunch in a local Eco lodge, going to market, seeing how locals make food or other products, going to the floating market, eating fruits on the boat. Lin was our guide and she was fantastic, would really do a trip with her again. It was nice to do this privately and easy to adjust with Lin if needed. Maika helped us book the accommodation in Can Tho which we really appreciated. Would highly recommend and for sure do a again.
