  We travelled to Greece 🇬🇷 July 2024 for a family holiday. I was thrilled to find Oscar Private Sailing as an intro into a sailing holiday. Nikos made everything so enjoyable and perfect. From finding the best coves for swimming and relaxing, to creating amazingly delicious meals - everything was perfect. I would highly recommend Nikos for an authentic and fun sailing adventure. Thanks Nikos (sorry for the delayed review!).

  Where to start...? We both love the water, swimming, snorkelling and diving. it was simply perfect. Nikos is a very professional and relaxed person it it was simply beautiful to have spend these days on his boat with him. Nikos is a real pro and knows how to read the sea, the wind and we had some proper sailing - there was one big problem: it was too short. .-)) we felt so sorry that we have to leave as it felt to stay longer as we had such a good time.   What an amazing experience! The waters at the stops along the way were so clear and blue. Nikos is a great capitan, knowledgeable, considerate, fun, attentive and a great cook as well. All while being respectful to allow you your space to enjoy the trip. I can't think how our experience could have been better. A wonderful memory for our family.

  We had a wonderful time on the private sailing tour!!! Captain Niko and Ioanna were so friendly and attentive. My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon on the boat and it’s a great way to relax and see beaches around Milos and neighboring islands. Highly recommend

  My family and I stayed and slept at Matilda for 3 days. We were 4 people. It was one of the best experiences of our lives. Nikos is a Captain with a lot of experience and very well prepared, the entire time from before boarding he made us feel very safe. When I booked I contacted him directly for several questions and I told him that I was nervous about getting dizzy since I do get dizzy very easily. So when we communicated the day before, he told us that he had already checked the weather very well and that it was going to be perfect for the tour and that therefore we would have a very calm sea and that it would be very difficult for me to get seasick and in the same way I would feel I commented that thanks to the good weather we could do the entire complete tour of the 3 islands. I didn't have to take anything for motion sickness before getting on. Every place they took us to was indescribably beautiful. Joana is also a very attentive and kind person. He attended to us all the time and helped us with everything we needed with a big smile. Joana and Nikos are excellent people. The entire time they made us feel VERY very comfortable. At the end of the tour we had even grown fond of them. All the meals and snacks they prepared for us were delicious and very sufficient. Every point we stopped at waited patiently for us long enough to swim and get to know each other. My daughters enjoyed the paddle board, they always had it ready every time we got off, as well as the snorkels, fins and floats. We also use the boat on some occasions. On the beaches we swam to the shore and other times they took us on the boat. The trips down to dinner and to see the little towns are fantastic. Matilda does not have air conditioning (it is normal for this type of sailboat) and Nikos also told me about this doubt the same day I made the reservation. He told me that if I thought that would be a big inconvenience for my family, it would be better not to. made the reservation. The first night we slept very comfortably, the second night it felt a little hot but we were able to sleep well. When we went to bed we opened all the hatches and doors of the rooms to let the air flow. It was a new experience bathing in Matilda, we had never stayed on a boat. We would be delighted to do the entire tour again in Matilda with Nikos and Johana. It was a BEAUTIFUL, incredible and unforgettable experience.

  So let's get specific - Oscar's is the best because: 1. Nicos - the captain, communicates and is filled with advice about making your Greece the BEST holiday possible. We spoke for a few months before our booking and arrival 2. Nicos is an outstanding professional with integrity, and his choice of mates is impeccable. Right now, Johanna is the first mate, and she's warm, friendly, and capable. 3. The boat is lovely - and Nicos takes you to the most amazing places with sites that can only be seen by ship! 4. Nicos is a fantastic captain, and you feel very safe 5. The two staterooms with two bathrooms are just perfect for 2 couples. 6. Nicos and Johanna both knew how to cook, and the food was bountiful, with the conversation so fun and warm! 7. You MUST swim - paddleboard, snorkel - do it all!   Extraordinary experience with Nikos and Stella! We have spent 2 days and 1 night with them sailing around Milos and everything has been excellent. We are on our honeymoon and they have treated us magnificently, super attentive and detailed. Nikos has all the gadgets, paddle surf, snorkel utensils, dinghy, he even leaves you his GoPro to take photos and then gives you a USB with all the photos, a unique detail. Fabulous food too, typical Greek and at night they invited us to a Gin Tonic and music with them. I recommend it 100%. Thank you guys!!
