  York H was an amazing guide and you should consider yourself lucky if you get matched up with him. We spent the whole time chatting and trying a bunch of adventurous (but safe) dishes throughout the entire market. We had done another market the night before and he made sure we didn't do anything we ate the night before. Genuinely, he was so great to talk to about Taiwan and Taipei in general, in addition to the night market tour. While we were enjoying foods, he would get in line in another stall for you, or, he would take the time to explain the origins of the foods, such as the oyster omelette. This tour is well suited for people that sre adventurous eaters, but can be customized for those with some restrictions. Vegans may run into challenges, but it isn't impossible.

  All tours like this one are entirely in the hands of the guide. Do they know of what they speak, or what you eat? Are they engaging? Interesting, lead you where you are happy to follow? Joseph, was all of these things. Wiling to direct my enthusiasm while guarding against things that might have looked good…but were they…fresh? Very happy to have gone. Ask for Joe!
