5.00This is just a blast. We were so glad we booked the buggy vs. the ATV. Our weather was perfect, but in other conditions these would ensure you still fully enjoyed the tour. Also, the buggies are able to go through lower water levels than the ATV. You drive over a variety of surfaces; each interesting in their own right and get a full sense of the impact of lava on the landscape. Our tour guide was wonderful; he had full knowledge of the area and added tremendous insight into the tour. (FYI, the tour also includes a stop at the airplane wreck, so no need to book that separately.)

5.00Incredibly fun activity that immerses you into Iceland in a very different way. Our guide, Jordy, was so nice ans informative and definitely added a special element to the activity. I’ve been to Iceland many times and this was the first time for many of our family members- they all rated this the best part of the trip, as did I!

It was an exciting and unique way to explore hidden parts of Iceland — driving across black sand beaches, fording rivers, and taking in breathtaking landscapes. Jordy was an excellent guide: knowledgeable, safe, and fun, striking the perfect balance between adventure and adrenaline. If we return to Iceland, we’ll definitely book another tour with him.

5.00My dad and I had the BEST time on this tour. Jordy was a fantastic guide who is incredibly knowledgeable about the stops we visited! Jordy made sure we felt safe operating the buggy, took us to the most magical places, and never made us feel rushed. The week we spent in Iceland was filled with tours, and I must say this tour and tour guide topped them all! I highly recommend Jordy and this experience if you are looking for a great adventure with the most beautiful scenery!
