5.00I would absolutely recommend Raj as the travel agent for any adventure in Nepal. Prior to the trip he listened to my requests and planned the itinerary accordingly and quickly responded via WhatsApp my questions. I travelled to KTM solo and he met me at the airport and kept in communication with me throughout my travels. I felt in very safe hands. Most importantly, Raj has immense integrity and was incredibly kind.

5.00To Celebrate our retirement, my husband and I planned a trip to Nepal through Elli travel agency (based in NY). They connected us with Getaway Nepal to help us arrange our trip. We spent 3 nights in Kathmandu, including one full day touring Kathmandu with a guide and then flew to Pokhara to start a 4 Day trek. Raj (main contact at Getaway Nepal) was instrumental in arranging all of our travel/transfer plans and activities while in Nepal. Our trek to Poon Hill and the mountains was the highlight of our trip. We cannot say enough good things about our guide Shyam and our porter, Tashbie. So friendly and knowledgeable about the area and very attentive to all our needs. Truly made the trip memorable for us! Shyam’s english is excellent and his knowledge of the villages, trails, peaks, etc were an enormous part of the trip. It was obvious that Getaway Nepal and Shyam had established relationships at the tea houses, and we were very pleased with the lodging and meal arrangements (no exceptions). We were 1st time travelers to Nepal (from US) and give the Getaway Nepal Team great scores for making our trip a success!!
