  Amazing experience. We had a lovely time with Fernando who drove us around, shared some local stories and was super flexible with us, when we wanted to stay longer at some wineries. We also visited small, family-owned wineries which was lovely 😊

  I recently made a tour of the Douro Valley with Douro Essênse and it was simply unforgettable, since the beginning the service was impeccable, attentive, punctual and well organized. We visited traditional wineries with amazing wine tasting. The journey through the winding roads surrounded by sockets is a true Portuguese postcard. The rabello boat was another highlight of the tour, providing a unique perspective of the valley and its vineyards. I recommend the company to those who want to know the Douro in a comfortable, engaging way and with a special touch.

  Wine tour in the Douro with the Douro Essense was sensational, we visited wineries of small local producers, wineries we would never find, we were treated by the owners and was a very pleasant experience, wonderful day in the Douro.

  Excellent tour in the Douro with the Douro Essense, family wineries and a ravel boat ride on the Douro river, it was a wonderful experience in the Douro, we did not worry about driving the winding roads of the Douro, thanks to the Douro Essense team for the excellent service provided.

  It went beyond expectations, we visited wineries that we wouldn't have found on our own, family wineries with excellent red wines and ports. Experience not to be missed. Finally we took a boat trip on the Douro, very peaceful and with beautiful views. Thank you for the excellent day on the Douro.

  Incredible wine tour in the Douro, we started the tour at the Peso da Régua train station, we visited a small producer of red wines and port, spectacular visit, we spoke directly with the owner who was super attentive, we headed towards Pinhão for a tour by Rabelo boat through the Douro and we finish with another winery, also small but with an incredible history of generations. I strongly recommend everyone to visit the Douro region.
