• Brilliant Tour Of The South Coast

  We recently did a tour of South Iceland from Reykjavik with Walter who was a great guide. He was very friendly, easy going and was always very happy to answer any and all questions about Iceland.   I have literally never left a trip advisor review before, but I needed to for how excellent this tour was. We had set up to go on a south coast tour with another larger company, but the trip was cancelled last minute due to weather. Since we were only in Iceland for a long weekend, my boyfriend and I had really wanted to see the South Coast. We had barriers in finding a different tour (we needed something that had a later start time 11am, most don’t leave this late and only 2 days from that day) but when I found Walter’s tours I called and he picked up on the second ring, and was willing to do the tour at that time AND in our budget! Walter was great with communication, texting me the details and texting us reminders. Our tour itself was with his driver Thor and I can’t say enough good things about Thor. He was very knowledgeable and was the perfect amount of letting us have our quiet and giving us info along the way. He provided a bunch of bottled water for us and we even got to sync up our Spotify account to the van! Since it was just the 3 of us (myself and my boyfriend plus Thor) we got to navigate our tour at our pace, spending longer and contain stops and quickly moving through others. He showed us some hidden gems not listed on other tours that so added to the experience. We completed the tour in roughly 8 hours, which was way less time than what the big tour companies go for (some 12+ hours). Upon arrival I had Walter texting me asking how our tour went, ensuring we were satisfied. Well here I am leaving this review, I’ve never been more satisfied with a tour before! I can’t say enough good things. Thank you!!!
