What To Expect
Bayeux
ジェントルマン・サイダー（ガイド兼パイロット）が、お客様が指定した集合場所、バイユー・ノルマンディー戦博物館の駐車場、またはバイユー・バスターミナルで、レトロなサイドカーに乗ってお待ち合わせいたします。 彼はヘルメット、グローブ、レトロなゴーグルなどの装備を整えるのを手伝ってくれるので、ようやく落ち着いて活動できるようになります。 もちろん、途中で休憩や写真撮影のための停車場所もあります。

オプション2H英語セクター - 半日 - 終日 パイロットがアロマンシュ・レ・バンまでお連れします。 1944年6月6日のDデイ直後、ノルマンディー上陸作戦の最中、連合軍はこの海岸にマルベリーB港を建設した。これは、ル・アーブルやシェルブール（2016年以降はシェルブール＝アン＝コタンタン）のような深水港の占領を待たずに重装備を陸揚げできるようにするための、一時的な人工港であった。 アロマンシュはゴールドビーチ上陸地点の中心部に位置していたにもかかわらず、Dデイの戦闘の大部分からは免れた。 港の設置と円滑な運営をできるだけ迅速に行うためには、海岸線を損傷せず、周辺地域の交通路を維持する必要があった。 そのため、イギリス軍はさらに東のアスネルとヴェール＝シュル＝メールの間に上陸し、6月6日の夕方、陸路でアロマンシュを解放した。 そのため、同港は6月14日に操業を開始した。

A great way to tour some of the DDay Beaches and sites!

5.00This was a really fun way to see the British sector of the DDay beaches and the Normandy countryside. Our guide John was also very knowledgeable and passionate about WW2 history so I learned a lot and he shared reading recommendations. Would definitely recommend.

5.00Highly recommend this experience even with small children! We did it with 3 kids aged between 5 and 10 and they thoroughly enjoyed it as much as we did. Our guides were super accomodating for the kids and made sure they wearing sunscreen, were hydrated and felt comfortable on the drive. This is the only way you would want to do the D-Day tour. Each stop was accompanied by a detailed explanation and our guides took some lovely family photos (and a selfie 🤳🏽)

5.00We had a fantastic half-day with John! Being a group of 2, we were able to get to/depart from all the sites quicker than any large group. Also had access to a few places the big tour groups could not access. Riding a motorcycle in the countryside was a very neat experience. And John was very knowledgeable, very kind, and let us choose where to go! The perfect trip!!

5.00My friend and I did the 3 hour tour with John who was very knowledgeable and funny and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience with him. He took us to some off the beaten path spots (WN 60) as well as Longues-sur-Mer Battery, Royal Marine commando monument, Omaha beach, and the American cemetery. Our only regret was not doing the 6 hr tour instead !! My friend was the one interested in WW2 facts and he got exactly what he was hoping for - in depth descriptions and facts about D-Day. If you just want a tour of the sights and to wander around, this is not the tour for you. It was very personal and focused. If there are two of you and one person is less interested in all the nitty-gritty facts, it works out pretty well as you can wander while the other person gets the in-depth history lesson. Also, riding on the back of the bike was a blast! Absolutely 20/10 would do this again. Thanks John!!

5.00Remy and John were amazing guides. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would! We had the best day ever riding on the bikes with them and learning all of the history. It rained on us halfway through the trip, but somehow that just made the adventure even more enjoyable. I cannot say enough good things about this tour or about John and Remy. If you are visiting Normandy, this is MUST DO!
