  Justine was an exceptional guide at the Musée d’Orsay and truly elevated our entire experience. She is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and patient, and she has a rare talent for making art history feel clear, engaging, and meaningful. Her explanations of the evolution from academically accepted art to Impressionism and then Post-Impressionism were insightful and easy to follow, giving us a strong framework for understanding what we were seeing. Thanks to Justine, the works of Van Gogh, Manet, and Monet were not just beautiful paintings, but stories filled with context, intention, and innovation. She helped us see details and ideas we would have completely missed on our own, and we walked away with a much deeper appreciation of both the artists and their groundbreaking contributions. Justine’s passion for art is contagious, and her thoughtful, well-paced approach made the tour enjoyable for everyone. This was an unforgettable experience, and we cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone visiting the Musée d’Orsay.

  We had a wonderful private tour with Walid from Project Expedition. Walid was not only incredibly knowledgeable, he was also very nice and we enjoyed every moment with him. I would unreservedly recommend Walid and Project Expedition to anyone looking to understand art, it’s place and role in history.

  Our visit to the Musée d’Orsay was unforgettable thanks to our exceptional guide. Warm, engaging, and wonderfully knowledgeable, she brought the museum to life in a way that felt both intimate and inspiring. Rather than reciting facts, she told stories—about the artists, the era, and the quiet rebellions behind the paintings—that made each gallery resonate. She read the group perfectly, inviting questions and tailoring the tour to what fascinated us most. We liked her a lot, and it showed in how relaxed and curious we felt throughout.   Our experience for a 10 with Monty out private guide! He was so detailed on all the information he provided and extremely knowledgeable.   We had a well educated tour guide who walked us the through the lay out of the museum and then explained the important works and how the art movement developed in France. Well thought out and attentive to our interests! Romain was wonderful and clear and concise and also shared a favorite restaurant for a later dinner too! Great experience and a great guide!!!

  Blerta gave us a great tour of the Musée d’Orsay. She was very friendly and informative. We very much enjoyed our tour and would not have gotten as much out of the museum had we not had a guide. Blerta really helped us see and understand more from the paintings.

  We loved our tour of the Musee d'Orsay! A month ahead of time the agency contacted us to ask what we wanted out of the tour. We told them the artists that we were most interested in, and a day ahead of time we were texted with the name and meeting place for our tour. We were able to get in using a special entrance for tours, which was shorter than the main entrance. Our guide was super smart and was able to give us the history of the different art movements in France, and how they were connected to society and politics at the time. We had a tour of the Louvre (with the same company) the day before, and our guide was able to smoothly interlink the stories with where the Louvre left off and the Orsay began. We had a great discussion with the guide the entire way through about art and the pieces we were seeing. When we found pieces that were new to us and that we really enjoyed, she was able to offer more information about the artist and their inspiration and their life. It was SO much better than if we were there on our own self-guided thing. We were able to do it at our own pace, and it was just a lovely experience.
