  Most epic awesome adventure ❣️❣️ Love the comfort the boat provided. The air conditioned cabins , the fabulous meals , the guides , comfy beds & observation areas in the boat & cabin roof. The private family tour of 6 ( including 5yr & 7 yr children)was exceptional. Such warm friendly staff. Huge thank you to Johnny our captain, Wanda our beautiful chef, Vonny a guide & awesome child minder, Monica our super knowledgeable guide & Ima our boat hand ( sorry if spelling isn’t good ). The entire journey was fabulous with numerous sightings of orangutans, monkeys, birds etc.

  The houseboat was absolutely incredibleN It was spacious, extremely comfortable, and having air conditioning was a must. It felt like the perfect mix of adventure & comfort. The staff were the best. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. I loved the food . Every single meal was delicious, and so well prepared. My guide was also exceptional. He was thoughtful, & knowledgeable. We had great conversations throughout the trip, and I learned so much about the orangutans and life in Indonesia. Seeing the orangutans was incredibly special. We had amazing sightings, including seeing some in the wild, plus other wildlife like monkeys and even a crocodile! It was such a unique and unforgettable experience. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. I would highly, highly recommend this company to anyone.

  Easy going and just like we wanted to have it. When we were ready to keep on going the crew was ready. They were always looking for animals and interesting things to see. Food on board was very good.

  They were 3 wonderful days in contact with a spectacular nature that gave us a thousand emotions. Our boat was really comfortable and the whole experience was enriched by the wonderful Processing had by our guide VONNY and the whole crew, not to mention the fantastic cook's kitchen Highly recommended!

  Took the safari in June and it was an incredible experience! Saw lots of orangutans, proboscis monkeys, one gibbon apart from others. Our guide Vonny was very knowledgeable and energetic and showed us a lot of hidden treasures during our walks in the jungle. The crew and the cook looked after us very well throughout! Highly recommended!

  A big thank you to Orangutan.com, we had a wonderful time on our 3 day/ 2night boat trip and would highly recommend the tour to anyone considering the visit. We were incredibly well looked after by both our guide and the crew and in particular a special mention to our captain who cleared a passage through an unexpected drift of grass and palm fond for both our boat and several other boats he returned to assist in pulling through ! We visited 3 feeding sites and were lucky enough to see Orangutans at all 3 including a large male which was spectacular and with additional sightings of Proboscis monkeys, macaques, and other wildlife including wild Orangutans on route together with a night trek and firefly’s this was certainly a trip that will be remembered for a long time. We opted for the Aircon boat option which we felt overall was the right choice for ourselves and irrespective of this would overall highly recommend this tour organised by Viator.

  Orangutan 🦧 Tour: We enjoyed the orangutan tour so much. We were very happy with our guide, the boat and crew. The driver met us at the airport and we were driven to our boat straight away. It was an easy effortless process. The boat was charming and they made us feel like home straight away. Our guide made sure we were comfortable , offering us water, coffee and snacks as soon as we arrived on the boat. Moreover, As we are both vegetarian (I get a bit worried about this whilst traveling) he also ensured that our meals were all vegetarian for the entire two day stay. As a side note and to our pleasant surprise, the food was incredible!!!! The best we’ve had so far on our trip throughout Indonesia. As We were on our way into the jungle, our guide pointed out the various wildlife on the route. There were birds, many Proboscis monkeys and gibbons and other monkeys in the trees. The captain would slow down and stop at locations so we could get a better view and take pictures. We also saw crocodiles lurking in the waters in route to the areas where the orangutans were. Our guide was ensuring to stop and give us plenty of information about whatever creature we passed, he had a very good knowledge of all the wildlife and he was so easy to understand as he was fluent in English which was very helpful. Our first stop was the first feeding station. To our surprise, we were so lucky to see an orangutan swinging from the trees and make his way over to us as we were walking the trail to the feeding station! It was epic! We were able to capture it all on video and took pictures with the orangutan . Our guide even offered to take some pictures for us. Then we proceeded to the feeding station where orangutans and many gibbons and other monkeys appeared to feast on bananas and sweet potatoes. The tour ended with a visit to Camp Leakey which was a dream to visit! There was another feeding station and we saw more orangutans here and a flying squirrel as well! If you want to see orangutans and other wildlife throughout the borneo jungle and enjoy your two days on a boat , then this tour will fit all your requirements and more! It was an unforgettable experience! It was an experience of a lifetime and we are so happy we booked with our tour guide.

  Two of us travelled on this houseboat and it was just perfect. The crew were in incredibly attentive without being at all intrusive, identifying exactly what we needed and when. The food was out of this world, authentic, delicious and plentiful. The downstairs cabin was full of character but also provided everything we needed. Our guide spoke great Wnglish and was by our side when we needed him, ensuring we moored at quiet locations and were ahead of the crowds at the feeding stations. I would 110% recommend this tour.
