5.00Our group consisted of two grandparents, two grandchildren and two adult friends from Poland. The first four of us live locally in Monterey County. Our whale watching adventure was a first for all and a wonderful trip. We saw enough whales, otters, jelly fish, and seals to be completely thrilled. One whale was so close we could see the barnacles on its flipper as she waved to us. The sea had 5 ft. swells but the catamaran handled them well and smoothly. Captain Dakota is a real professional; kind, courteous and well informed about the sea life. Plus his age, being close to that of our grandchildren, allowed them to feel challenged and encouraged. I would recommend this trip to all who desire the feeling of a private, personal adventure.
