Godafoss
「神々の滝」と呼ばれるゴザフォスの滝は、北アイスランドを代表する滝で、1日の始まりを力強く彩ります。 馬蹄形の広いフォルムと安定した流れが、印象的な安らぎの雰囲気を醸し出しています。 伝説によると、ここはアイスランドが1000年以上前にキリスト教を採用した後、法話者ソルゲイルが異教の偶像を海に投げ入れた場所だという。 高地や氷河からの水によって養われ、深い青色の色調から、より柔らかく乳白色の色合いまで、滝は光によって色を変えます。 晴れた日には、滝の上に虹ができることが多く、その場所の魔法が加わる。

地球規模で真にユニークな場所 - このような疑似クレーターは、世界でほんの数か所しか存在しません : ここ北アイスランド、ハワイ、そして火星にも存在します。 これらは熱い溶岩が湖に流れ込み、水面下に水が閉じ込められたことで形成された。 水が急速に蒸気に変わり、地面を貫通して爆発するまで圧力が蓄積され、このような完璧な形のクレーターのような形になりました。 今日、この地域は穏やかで開放的な雰囲気で、ミーヴァトン湖を見渡すことができる。ミーヴァトン湖を作り出した強大な勢力とは対照的な、穏やかな風景が広がっている。

Amazing one day tour in North Iceland

5.00It was not easy to book a tour with Dettifoss from Akureyri the tour from big company was cancelled just one or two days ahead. I found out this tour almost in the last minute and it was unexpectedly amazing. Only myself joined the tour in the end and Joanna still made it happen:) Joanna is a very knowledgeable and considerate guide, and also a photographer who knows the best spots for pictures! Strongly recommend this tour to everyone looking for a tour in North Iceland!

5.00Joanna, our guide and owner was awesome. It was meant to be a small group tour, but I was the only one who booked, and so I had a private tour. Joanna is very knowledgeable about everywhere we went and gave a lot of background info about Icelandic people and culture. I would highly recommend this tour and company to anyone.

Her knowledge of the region was impressive, but what truly stood out was the way she shared it - engaging, clear, and full of passion. She brought each place to life with fascinating stories and insights, making the journey both educational and enjoyable. One of the absolute highlights was witnessing the Northern Lights at the beginning of 2026! Seeing the sky come alive with dancing colors was truly magical and something I will never forget. Thanks to her excellent communication skills and warm personality, the tour felt personal and immersive. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to truly connect with the beauty and history of North Iceland.🇮🇸
