  The Hidden Gems tour was fantastic and we were so lucky to have Ms. Badass In-Chief herself, Elyzabeth as our tour guide. Elyzabeth exudes positive energy and enthusiasm, is very knowledgeable and a terrific storyteller. Her knowledge of the little known tidbits when woven together brought us into the context of the events and the lives of those heros/sheros that were highlighted on the tour. The topics certainly pieced together the contemporary issues that we face today. Don’t hesitate to book this tour!

  We enjoyed a great informative walk with our brilliant guide Virginia ! We were a very small group, just ourselves and our two friends which made it more special, Virginia was able to answer all our questions fully and we enjoyed a discussion regarding all the subjects of the walk. Virginia certainly knows her stuff!!

  BadAss Tours was incredibly responsive when I reached out as a solo traveler looking for a BIPOC-focused tour of Amsterdam. After an unsuccessful attempt with another heritage tour, they stepped in quickly and made booking and payment easy. Our guide Elizabeth was knowledgeable, approachable, and never rushed. She shared rich, lesser-known stories about Amsterdam’s diverse history and provided great tips along the way. The tour was thoughtful, inclusive, and truly meaningful.   We learned about so many interesting and historically significant people as well Dutch history we didn’t know. Our guide, Elizabeth made every effort to accommodate our mother in a wheelchair and hearing limitations.

  We went on the Jewish history tour. Astrid was extremely knowledgeable and passionate. I felt a profound sense of connection to the history, especially the travesty of suffering during WWII. Astrid’s sharing helps us to remember what should never be forgotten or, how we got there. It’s a critical message, especially where we find ourselves today. Take the tour!

  This was a fantastic tour, especially if you like to learn about people and history connected to the site you are seeing. Astrid was our guide and told well informed and compelling stories about people who made history, but perhaps were not yet celebrated for their impact. Highly recommend.

  This was one of the best tours we have ever taken in all our years of travel (30+ of guided tours). Elyzabeth is an excellent guide who is extremely knowledgeabe and a very engaging storyteller. Highly recommended for your tour of Amsterdam, one of the greatest cities on earth.

  Elyzabeth was an incredibly knowledgeable and passionate tour guide--and an even better story teller! Several times during the tour I was moved to tears. My family and I kept referencing what we learned for the rest of our visit in Amsterdam. I can't recommend highly enough!
