5.00We visited on the 30th January 2026. We went to the ticket hut to buy tickets on the day. I ordered the tickets in German, and the cashier was really supportive and enthusiastic of my attempt at German speaking, which absolutely made my day. Thank you to that man! The museum itself is a terrific journey through the ages, and their rock collection is incredible (my geology loving wife had a total geek out). My highlight was the protoceratops skeleton - my absolute favourite dinosaur! We also had some light bites in the cafe - and was pleasantly impressed with the vegan/dairy free cake options. Our server was also really receptive and friendly when I attempted to order in German - and I really appreciate his patience as I don't get the opportunity to speak German very often.

1.00It was a scam!!! We bought tickets for the museum for two adults and 3 children 129 euros with English guide. One day after the visit they contact me from the UAE through whatsapp and tell me that we have to move the date because the museum the next day will be closed. Since we cannot move the date and strongly doubt the closure, we ask for more information that we are not given. The next day we go to the museum, obviously open, which does not recognize the tickets we bought through TripAdvisor and we have to buy back the tickets for only 44 euros. We have already written to TripAdvisor about a complaint and a refund request, but they have not yet responded... Shame on you!

2.00They take reservations. Fine. But the wait is so long. We just wanted to sit a bit for a coffee, before continuing our visit of the museum. The came 5 times to see if anyone had a reservation. No one had. Many tables for 2 or 4 were empty. They only reserve for 6 or more.
