  Absolutely hands down one if the best Cozumel tours I’ve been on. This is not your cruise ship tour guide at all. Instead Raul tells the story about how Cozumel people came to be. Learn about the ancient Mayans, and Spaniards originally populating Cozumel. Experience an ancient warrior dance the in a way that tells a powerful story. The show with the native Cozumel warriors was very cool. This tour is one that you'll be talking about for a long time. The story of Cozumel history is fascinating.   This was such a wonderful experience. All the years I have lived on the island and I didn’t realise the significance of many of things I see around Cozumel every day. Raul was so knowledgeable and answered our questions with enthusiasm and with first hand knowledge from his direct relatives. So much deep routed history on one small island with so much significance to the people of today …. and historically. I highly recommend this tour , it was excellent! The groups are small and Intimate guarenteeing that personal touch!

  We go to Cozumel often, but the focus is always on diving (and the island’s wonderful food). When I heard about the tours offered by Raul at Corazon Cozumel, I wanted to learn more about this beautiful island’s history and culture. He was full of knowledge about the Mayan history and traditions, and how Cozumel came to be the unique place that it is. He was an excellent guide, and I highly recommend taking a tour with him. I feel more appreciation for Cozumel and more connected to it, after learning so much from Raul.

  We have been to Cozumel for more than 20 years. We were looking for something different to do one evening. Raul’s walking tour sounded like the perfect evening. When we arrived we found we had a private tour! My husband and 15yo son thoroughly enjoyed all the Mayan history and culture that Raul shared with us. He pointed out statues that we have driven by hundreds of times and had never noticed. As we walked along the ocean we discussed many things that influenced the history of Cozumel. It was a very pleasant couple of hours. I would definitely recommend a tour with Raul!
