Havnegade Harbour Promenade

旧税関庁舎－街の玄関口私たちの旅は、かつてデンマークと世界との境界線だった旧税関（デット・ガムル・トルドゥス）から始まります。 1734年に建てられたこの堂々としたバロック様式の建物は、コペンハーゲンの貿易港としての重要性の象徴として建っていた。ここにはヨーロッパ中の船が停泊し、物資の申告、納税、海の向こうからの知らせなどが行われた。西インド諸島産のラム酒の樽、ノルウェー産の木材、東洋産の絹などを見守っていた。税関の役割はとっくに廃止されていますが、この建物は街の海事アイデンティティの礎であり続けています。エレガントで誇り高く、何世紀にもわたる海の空気によって風化されています。フレイジャが桟橋からそっと離れると、かつて地球上を商品や王、アイデアが運ばれていたのと同じ流れに足を踏み入れます。コペンハーゲンが世界に開かれた場所、そして旅の始まりです。

Nyhavn – コペンハーゲンのポストカード曲がりくねったあたりに、絵のように美しい運河、ニハウンがかろうじて現実味を帯びている。名前は「ニューハーバー」という意味だが、1673年からある。かつてビールホールや売春宿が軒を連ねる漕ぎ慣れた船員街だった場所は、今では街で最も愛される遊歩道になっています。石畳の岸壁には色とりどりの17世紀の家屋がやや傾いており、古い木造の船が水面に優しくうなずいている。波止場でコーヒーをすすり、開いた窓からジャズのフロートが鳴り響き、自転車が永遠のリズムに乗って通り過ぎる。ハンス・クリスチャン・アンデルセンはかつてここに住んでおり ― ― 実際、そのうちの3軒は彼の家だった ― ― 、まさにここで彼の童話が咲き誇るインスピレーションは想像に難くない。今日、ニーハウンはコペンハーゲンで最もよく撮影された顔であり、ノスタルジーと美しさ、そして絶え間なく続く港と石とのせめぎ合いが歓喜に満ちている。

Captain Denis did a fantastic job and our family, which includes three teenagers, had a wonderful time. Our two hour tour included both current insights and historical facts about Copenhagen’s past and what it’s like to live there now. We saw all of the main points of interest and architectural highlights of the city from the water, providing a unique and fun perspective. Captain Denis provided blankets when some of our party got a bit cold from the wind off the water and he was constantly checking on everyone to ensure was having a nice time. He was a genuine pleasure to spend time with and we highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Copenhagen. 10/10!!!

This trip was a wonderful way to complement seeing And learning about Copenhagen with Dennis on his private boat tour. Three of us were in a very nice, inboard motor boat that had a retractable roof, so we could get the best of two worlds; protection from the sun (when you wanted it) and access to small canals that have very low bridges! This was one of our best experiences while visiting Copenhagen and would highly recommend it as an alternative to the large tour group tours. Dennis ROCKED!

Captain Dennis with his boat was right on time at the agreed meeting point. The two-hour tour took us to the hotspots and was very informative. Our captain also gave us some insights into life in Copenhagen and was a really good tour guide. Overall, I can only recommend the tour.

We (a family of 6 adults) all really enjoyed our tour of Copenhagen via the canals. Denis was knowledgeable, engaging, honest, and funny. We felt that we got to see and experience Copenhagen in a way few tourists do: from the water, led by a local with insider knowledge, in a very small group, and with a personalized itinerary. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

We had a lovely time with Captain Den on our boat tour. Great to see Copenhagen from the water. We weren't in the city for long, so it was a great opportunity to see lots of the city. Den was entertaining and knowledgeable. The boat itself is lovely. Would definitely recommend and would re-book the next time we visit!
