5.00The lakeside promenade, which was beautifully decorated, instantly put us in a festive mood. Our guide told us stories about unique local holiday traditions, which added context to the scenic beauty around us. At a local chocolatier, we tasted some of the finest local chocolates. And, watching the sunset over the lake, with the mountains in the background, is something we will always remember.

3.00During the holiday at Lakeside, we stayed in the disabled caravan, it was clean and tidy, and the staff were very helpful and helped the wife with the case into the car when we left after three days, due to the weather raining every day, the site was nice and clean, all the write-ups we read were not true this site people are trying very hard to make peoples holidays very welcoming, only thing is it would be nice to have the beds made upon arrival, sorry cannot tell about the food on site as we did not go out due to rain, found it a bit dear on price for end of May, but that's our fault hope the team at lakeside make it work, we had stayed with them beforehand many years ago when prices were not so high, but it was on a bank holiday this time, might be back if things work out for the lakeside team
