• Not bad, very long, hot day.

  This was a very long day with a long bus ride to Verona from the train station in Mestre, Venice. The AC on the bus is not very good and it was hot. It was a very hot day and there was no reprieve from the heat when getting on the bus. The tour (which I didn’t realize) was in two languages English and Spanish (kudos to the tour guide) but that means everything was said twice and with all the talking and thick accent it made it hard to catch all the information. There wasn’t enough information on how the day would go and we ended up wasting time eating lunch in Sirmione instead of going and seeing the town. We only had 1 hr after the boat ride. So we didn’t get to experience the town at all. Wish there was less time in Verona and more in Sirmione. After we were told that we should have eaten in Verona, wish we knew that before hand. So the itinerary could be better explained. The tour guide was very friendly, but with so many people on the tour and being a bilingual tour, it didn’t feel as organized as it could have been. I would probably not do this tour again and instead just take the train or bus to Verona or Sirmione to have more control of your itinerary and time where you want it more.

  Horrible guide Dali. Disrespectful. She tried to leave some members of my family in Verona because they were 5 minutes late! A real shame because the tour was good. A good guide or bad guide can ruin the total experience!

  Pick up additional travelers in Verona - have to go back to Verona from Lake Garda to drop off travelers before returning to Venice - adds additional unnecessary time to trip

  It was supposed to be a nice pleasant trip to wonderful places like Verona and Sirmione (Lake Garda) but our group had a short stay in Verona to meet a second group of twenty scattered travelers lost in the center of Verona. It was a mess and we lost almost one hour to gather this group of 20 people and at the end there were only 16 because 2 did not show up and 2 got lost on the way to the bus. I would rate 5 stars for the places we sent and 1 star for the travel agency for not organization of the group leaving them alone instead of sending a lead travel guide.

  Tour was to be 8-81/2 hours. I got to meeting spot on time. 8:15. Returned back to spot 8:20 pm. Total crap. Extra dumb stop back in Verona. Waste. Should have just stayed an extra hour the first time. People moved items In saved seats. Not cool. Tour guide gave me bad information on meeting back at bus. Not cool. Verona Beautiful. When you sign up for a 8 hr tour and turns into 12, I never would have signed up. Not worth my money or time. To see Verona, splurge for a train ride and take the double decker bus. 12 hours and 4.5 of sights. Crappy description and bad guide. I was lied to by Viator.

  They cancelled my tour the day before, less than 24 hours. So we left on the scheduled day. we didn't have time to look for another tour.

  The tour is well organized and professional. A great guide, a good bus and driver, nice people on board. The visit to Lake Garda and Sirmione is very nice. However, you won't have enough time to visit Verona. If you are interested in this city, take a different tour. If you just want to have a look, then it's perfect. This depends on your preferences, not really on the tour.

• Watch for the bubbles in the lake.
