• Self guided Zurich City Tour and Lindt Factory Tour

  Had a wonderful experience on this self guided tour of Zurich city and the Lindt Chocolate Factory. The Whatsapp communications and help throughout the tour was just fabulous. Cannot praise them enough for their constant support and help. A MUST experience with this team.   Just purchase a Swiss Transport Pass and buy tickets directly from the Chocolate Factory Museum. You can manage the rest on your own. This was very frustrating. It clearly said meet no later than 8:55 at Zurich HB station to pick up information and tickets, so we thought there would be someone to meet us at Zurich HB to answer any questions and get us started. That was not the case and we wasted a lot of time trying to find someone that was not there. Then they sent us a specific pin for the boat dock location and it took us to a specific dock across the street from the public dock. Turns out we were supposed to take the public boat which we figured out ourselves. They told us to take the 11 am boat to the chocolate factory but our digital tickets at the factory were for 5:30 pm. When we inquired via WhatsApp they said you can go in anytime. That was not true. We had to go to the ticket counter and plead with them for earlier tickets. If we had waited until 5:30pm to go in, there would not have been enough time to take the boat back, get on a train to Rhines Falls which is a major part of the tour. The public boat cruise was lovely and the chocolate factory was very fun and engaging. You can just get the Swiss Pass for all the trains and boats, then take the boat early in the morning, visit the chocolate factory then jump back on the boat and cruise all the way down the lake, go back to Zurich for shopping, or take the train to Rhines Falls. Viator has always been my go to for fantastic tours but this was the first one that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.

  Loved this tour. We had a great fun filled day and having the ability to ask questions and get timely answers with what’s app was great. Lives doing things at our own pace but still seeing so much at a reasonable price. Just the Lindt tour was worth the price but everything made it even better.

  A visit to the famous Lindt Chocolate Factory. The factory visit was definitely the highlight, an absolute must for any chocolate lover. This tour combined the Lindt experience, Rhine Falls, and Zurich highlights all in one, and at a much lower cost than booking them separately. I only had a day to explore Zurich, and I’m so glad I chose this tour—it helped me see everything without feeling rushed. The digital itinerary was easy to follow and perfect for someone like me who prefers not to do the exploration over crowded group tours. It allowed me the flexibility to move at my own pace while staying organized. Everything ran smoothly, and the thoughtful planning made it an ideal option for independent travelers. recommended for anyone looking to explore more with limited time.

  I had an amazing time on this independent tour. Everything was clearly planned, allowing me to explore at my own pace without a group. Visiting Rhine Falls, taking a Zurich Lake cruise, and experiencing the magical Lindt Home of Chocolate made for a perfect day. Highly recommend!

  This is the worst tour I experienced all my life.. While booking, Viator Rep said that this has a tour guide. But they got a company by the name of Trawellplan who is the tour operator. This tour ended up a Self-guided tour. This means that you are on your own. No tour person will be joining you. Instead, Trawellplan will provide you the tickets for your transportation, message you where to go, rides to take, and assist you along the way if any issues arise through Whatsapp. Trawellplan wasn’t helpful at all. We waisted more than 2 hours giving us wrong instructions and directions. As a result, we did not complete the tour.

  This tour is suitable for people who want to explore independently without any time limits and don’t want to go through the hassle of booking and sifting through information. We visited all the sites without the hassle of booking our tickets or looking for different train lines. All the information is provided with the tickets to the destinations. The tour operator is very responsive and guides you through the process if you get stuck.
