  This was the best outdoor experience we’ve ever had! Rappelling down waterfalls, jumping into crystal-clear pools, and hiking through stunning canyon scenery — it was nonstop adventure. Lilly and Mike were outstanding guides: professional, fun, and focused on safety. They made sure everyone felt confident and had a blast. If you're heading to Matacanes, go with them — you won’t regret it! Note: Make sure you are experimented or have resistance for long hikes in tough trails. 100% recommend!

  If you're even thinking about doing Matacanes Canyon — do it, and if possible, make sure you go with Lilly and Mike as your guides! This was hands down one of the most thrilling, beautiful, and well-organized adventures I’ve ever had. From start to finish, Lilly and Mike were phenomenal: professional, upbeat, incredibly knowledgeable, and 100% focused on our safety and enjoyment. The experience itself is straight out of a dream — rappelling down waterfalls, jumping into turquoise pools, sliding through natural water chutes, and hiking through jaw-dropping canyon landscapes. What set this apart was how safe and supported we felt the entire time. Lilly and Mike guided each section with clear instructions and plenty of encouragement, making it perfect for both first-timers and seasoned adventurers. Note: this is for experimented. It is intense and requires a ot of stamina and resistance. If you love nature, adrenaline, and unforgettable memories, this experience is a must.

  Wonderful experience, guides with excellent skills, coordinated. It was an activity of about 10 hours where we traveled 20 km inside the canyon of slayers , jumps into the water , rappelling , walking, swimming and a lot of fun, we were given all the necessary protective equipment , neoprene , harness, helmets , vests... recommended to wear boots that you can wet (no aqua shoes) , blocker , some snaks (collect your trash)

  Great tour, friendly staff, etc. Need to be actually fit as it’s physically demanding - be honest with yourself as it impacts the group. Long tour which is great. Get pretty remote! Worth the cost. Picked me up at 3:15 am and didn’t get back to hotel til 10 pm ( had dinner after canyoning with the group).

  This was my second trip to Monterrey and my second time using LyliAventuras for tours. I had 3 tours back to back: Pico Licos, Chipitin, and Matacanes. I rested the night before as much as I could, and started to drink fluids with electrolytes in advance. I was picked up from my Airbnb and everything went great, from breakfast to detailed instructions, and days full of amazing memories of the beautiful Nuevo Leon outdoors. The safety equipment, water shoes with good grip, the long sleeve neoprene along with instructions from the guides were very important for a safe and enjoyable experience. Then the overnight stay in the mountains and eating delicious food prepared by the guides was for sure a special treat.   Hello everyone, the Paseo Cañon de Matacanes was an incredible experience. on Saturday June 8. The Guides Lily and Leo. From the beginning they worry about safety first and foremost, from the previous preparations 1 week before with the induction of Rappelling in the Huasteca. Very Supportive at the Departure at the Cola de Caballo Hotel. 4 am 😴. Breakfast and important safety points. And they provided us with the Wet Suit equipment, life jacket and harness. The adventure always begins with specific instructions from the Excellent Guides Lily and Leo. In the Rappel, later in each of the canyons how you should jump. I know how to enter each cave. Especially how to jump into water of various heights and slides, etc. The ride was very fun. I highly recommend them to the company

  If you want to hike, rappel down waterfalls and into caves, float the river with butterflies, jump over cliffs, and water slide in the beautiful canyon, and all of it captured in awesome photos, this tour is for you! This was my second time adventuring in Monterrey in 6 months and I could not be happier with Lyli and Leo! They know the canyon inside and out and pointed out what to look out for and how to safely conquer each spot. They were very vigilant of my skills and comfort level and lead the paths I felt safe while encouraging me to try certain spots. I am a middle aged woman traveling solo and they took care of everything including hotel pick up and drop off, new and well maintained gears that they made sure were fitted to me, and all the meals (breakfast before the hike, snack lunch in the canyon, local dinner at the village, and little treat in Santiago). I am an avid hiker and also climb rocks indoor but am not a strong swimmer. I found the adventure to be challenging but always felt safe. You do need to be in a good physical health, being able to hike and not be super fearful of heights or water. We saw some companies had 45+ guests and I was glad that I was with Lyli and Leo, never rushed or pushed beyond my comfort zone. Definitely recommend water shoes with good traction/grip but other than that you don’t need to bring much. Do bring change of clothes (to leave in the truck) and tissue paper for ladies.   I have been doing Matacanes for more than 10 years, and I have not experienced more trained and attentive service than that of Lyliaventuras. They were dedicated to ensuring that we enjoyed the tour safely and recorded the experience in our lives. They are super empathetic people and skilled at their work.
