  These musicians were amazing! The pianist had quick, nimble fingers that moved with great ease while expressing varied emotional depth to the musical composition. The violinist also played with amazing grace and skill while sharing emotional understanding of the piece - just like Mozart intended. Definitely worth attending if you are looking for an amazing Mozart concert in a Romanesque building.

  Attended this performance in May 2026. The performers were Timothee Prouvost (pianist) and Hee Jin (Jimmy) Park (violinist). They were incredible! Both were masters of their instrument. Both noted that they were students, but they far exceeded many other professional performers that I've seen and heard. The setting at St. Peter's was incredibly intimate and was attended by about 40 people. You couldn't ask for a better performance. The performance was just about an hour which was perfect for us since we had limited time in Salzburg. I wanted to hear Mozart performed in his home town and the rest of my group went along with my request thinking "why not". After the performance, everyone in my group said this was by far the best part of our trip to Salzburg. At a little over $30 USD per person, this was a remarkable value for what you got. Do not miss this!!!

  This was an excellent experience in a beautiful Salzburg square. The musicians presented a beautiful concert. Their talent and skill with the piano and violin are amazing. I highly recommend this tour.

  We wanted our teens to experience a bit of Mozart’s music without a major concert. An incredibly talented pianist and violinist played a few pieces with brief explanations of the background and meaning of the pieces. Their artistry was exceptional and they made the music approachable and engaging. It was a perfect way to experience Mozart’s music and learn about his style in an intimate setting in St Peter’s Abbey.

  It was a wonderful performance of Mozart’s music by two very talented musicians! The intimate and interesting venue made it all the more memorable. I would highly recommend it!

  This was a wonderful concert experience in an historic location, for a very reasonable price! I am a classical musician, so when I was looking for concerts in Salzburg, I was concerned that I would end up at something more touristy than musical. Not here! The pianist and violinist are both fantastic musicians who played a beautiful set of sonatas. I also loved that the concert was at 5:00. It fit perfectly after a day of touring. Then you have the concert, and then it’s the perfect time for dinner.

  My friend and I very much enjoyed the Mozart Violin Sonatas at the St. Peter Romanesque Hall. Nice venue, beautiful and heartfilled music, and very hospitable host. Very cool to hear Mozart's music so excellently showcased in the same city where he was born.

  Brilliant violin and piano playing of various Mozart pieces. Encore was a Kreisler work. Story behind each was explained which was helpful. Musicians are still studying and need all the support they can get. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would highly recommend attending.
