  Michael has incredible knowledge of the local birds and environment. Thanks to him, I was able to see birds I never would have spotted on my own. The famous hummingbirds of Tobago were just the beginning of about a two-hour hike through the rainforest. We saw and heard dozens of species that were completely new to me, including blue-backed manakins, Trinidad Motmots, and a rare great black hawk. Michael kindly drove me to and from Crown Point, sharing local history and pointing out even more birds along the way. Best of all, after the tour he sent a list of birds we saw and some videos, including the hawk in flight. If you're a nature lover, do yourself a favor and book this tour (and wear good walking shoes that you don't mind getting muddy). Cannot recommend Michael enough!

  The bird watching and rainforest tour with Mike was amazing. Mike met us off the boat in Scarborough, Tobago and we headed out to the rainforests in the centre of the island. We stopped numerous times as key local species were pointed out. What followed was breathtaking. A two hour walk through the mountain rain forests of Tobago produced a number of sought after birds. Mike's ability to identify the species by sight and (most impressively) by sound) begs belief and we came away with a plethora of sightings. Aside from the natural history, Mike was a fountain of knowledge on the island, its history, geology and culture, and more than happy to answer any questions we could come up with! A wonderful experience and one we will never forget. Highly recommended.

  A big thank you to Michael. My husband & I did a custom made bird watching tour. We arrived by cruise ship and Michael took us to the rain forest first . Then we went to see hummingbirds being fed from our hands. His car is immaculate with AC. He even washed our shoes for us 😂 We saw a lot of the island on our way to and from the rain forest . He offered to take us to tge waterfall but we declined as we wanted more time in the forest. Highly recommend his tour !

  My brother and I met Michael at the Aryle waterfall entrance. We did the rainforest and Argyle waterfall tour. We started with the Rainforest tour at Gilpin Trace, Michael was very knowledgeable and explained the history of the rainforest. He also talked about the flora and fauna. He also showed us the different types of birds of the rainforest, they were the hummingbirds, mannakins, thrushes and wrens. There was also other wildlife such as snakes, spiders and leafcutter ants. It was thoroughly enjoyable. We then went to on a short hike to the Argyle waterfall and it was beautiful, my brother had the wrong footwear so we couldnt explore further up the waterfall, which was a shame. I would definitely recommend Micahel as a tour guide!

  Michael was brilliant. We went to the Argyle waterfall and rainforests tour. We were extremely lucky and saw many species of different native birds, Hummingbird nests, different trees and Cayman's. Very knowledgeable and patient tour guide with a friendly laughable attitude. Nothing was too much trouble. We had an amazing time.

  Many other have also said this: Michael's knowledge of birds, their habits, calls and how to spot them is amazing. Message him directly with any questions - he was very fast to respond and organise my pick up time and location.   Michael has an uncanny ability to both identify bird song & the birds themselves. There’s no way that we could have seen the number of birds without him. Go for the full day tour which includes the trip to Little Tobago & a very nice lunch.

  Michael is a true treasure. His bird knowledge and expertise is extensive. He truly cares that we had a special experience while walking with him. He is a true local and was willing to answer all our questions. He even helped us find fresh papaya and told us who to take a boat ride with. Our experience on To ago was fantastic!

  Micheal provided us with much more than a bird spotting tour, he shared his local knowledge of Tobago’s history and heritage during an informative drive to the ridge. He has expert knowledge of the local birds and their habitats making sure we managed to see a wide variety of birds during our tour.
