5.00Reykjavik, Iceland Our cruise excursion for today was canceled last week due to low participation. BUT... some research and I found a tour of more places for about the same price. But instead of a bus with 40ish people it was private! And what a day!!! We drove from beautiful location to beautiful location for about 6 hours. Our guide, Teka (tehkah) picked us up at the cruise terminal and was so fabulous. We asked to make two unscheduled stops for specific shopping and he ultimately dropped us off at our or airport hotel at the end of the day. He was so accommodating. What a treat to be able to go to a place, spend as much or as little time as we wanted, and have some tour-guide kind of conversation. I'm sure we stopped several places the tour busses don't normally go. And Teka took pictures which he later sent to me through whatsapp. Up to four for a single price. Group pricing available too. Definite must do if you want the best option for a lava landscape tour.
