  Beautiful views of the varied feels of Iceland. Walk down to and behind a waterfall, climb up to and walk around a volcanic crater with views of a glacier behind it, basalt columns, black sand beach, seals frolicking and sunbathing, iconic black church. Our guide provided answers to any questions and tailored the commentary to our interests. we heard stories of trolls, elves, vikings. he also pointed out the very best photo spots, making sure we didn’t miss a thing!!!

  Our tour guide Bjarni was so impressive with his knowledge of the culture, history and geography/geology of the region we toured. We had rain when we left Reykjavik so we could not see much of the Armastapi coastline, but the weather improved as we arrived at the Majestic Londrangar Basalt Cliff & the bird cliffs in Snaefellnes. The Djupalonssandur black pebble, volcanic sand beach was stunning. My husband has Parkinson’s Disease so we did not walk down onto the beach. Then on to the sights of the Snaefellsnes Glacier as seen from the summit of the volcanic crater. We had lunch at a small fishing village and then on to the iconic Kirkjufell Mountain. Again, the weather brightened for this photo stop. A drive through the Snaefellsnes National Park provided numerous breathtaking vista for photos. We had a stop at Bjarnafoss Falls then Ytri Tunga Beach where we were greeted by a lone harbor seal. If you plan on taking this tour definitely request Bjarni Thorseinsson, he was fantastic!

  We had booked a transfer from cruise ship to hotel with south coast tour, however during drive from cruise ship to hotel we realized that the tour he was going to do was to South which we had already seen with a previous tour. Bjarni quickly adjusted our tour to go to area of Iceland we had not seen. He took us to a few places that only locals visit. It was a great tour. Thanks Bjarnij for showing us around Iceland

  We loved this tour! Bjarni was a wonderful guide - very informative, great storyteller, answered all our questions, took us to beautiful places, and was flexible if we wanted a little extra time. We were here 12 days, and it was our favorite day of our trip. Highly recommended!

  This was such a wonderful experience! Bjarni was our guide for two days. We did this tour and Golden circle with him and it was wonderful. We had such amazing stops, so many informative and interesting stories along the way. He told us a lot about Elf culture since my friend and I were really interested.
