5.00Our family LOVED this hiking tour. Krista is great with kids and loves sharing her knowledge of Sequoia National Park. The day goes by so quickly and you will cover so much of the park. This was the best tour we did during our vacation in California. Don't hesitate booking this tour! We never would have been able to see as much as we did, if we were on our own. More than 5 stars if possible!

5.00We actually did two tours with Krista -- day hiking and stargazing -- she is AMAZING. A wonderful guide - a tremendous story-teller - a lover of nature - an inspirational human being! We absolutely loved her! She was so very well prepared - an expert in her field - great sense of human - a natural teacher about nature! :) Cannot thank her enough for making our trip so enjoyable and memorable.

5.00Some people just shine when they’re in their happy place. That place is Sequoia Natl. Park and that person is Krista. She shared her love for and knowledge of the park easily with our group of 6, including an inquisitive 5 year old and two grandparents. She knew where and when to rest, and, like a magician, pulled things out of her pack we didn’t even know we’d need, communicated with us ahead of time. She is a teacher by nature and experience, peeling off layers of the park in bits suited to her charges. Her trained eyes picked up on details we’d never have seen, like colonies of the tiniest ladybugs coming out of hibernation to the healing super powers of redwood bark. Each one of us felt a special connection with her and to the park and that’s a treasure.

5.00Highly satisfied. Private guide was smart and good-humoured. She was just what I wanted to enhance my first hikes among the giant trees. I learned a ton about plants and animals and the park in general. Her name is Krista S., and she is a local. She is listed among the Sequoia guides.

5.00Krista was an amazing guide! I’m so glad we booked this instead of doing it on our own. We learned a ton more than we would have by reading the signs at the park! She went above and beyond to customize the experience for my kids who are 14 and 11. She has so much knowledge about the park and the beautiful Sequoias. And she is a great photographer. It made the day so easy!

5.00Krista was extremely knowledgeable, personable and well prepared. With the unexpected snow, Krista provided shoe cleats and walking sticks. We enjoyed her seed souvenir and the surprise hot beverage at mid hike. Krista is a fantastic guide and would be great for any age group.
