  Rob was great, if you are looking for trout fishing highly recommend requesting him. We caught around 50 trout in a couple of hours, every 3 minutes a new one was on the line. He certainly knows where the fish are and extremely well prepared. Outside of fishing he was very knowledgeable about the area. The boat was clean and safe; they had rain gear, definitely pack layers. We used handmade ties, by Rob which is quite special. The further back you go into the Maligne Lake, the colder it gets. It was very fun and a once in a lifetime experience that will never be forgotten! Thank you Rob!

  We had an incredible afternoon with our guide Rob. Not only was he very experienced and knowledgeable, he was kind, passionate and professional which put us fishing newbies at ease. His equipment was top notch, well prepared and his passion for fishing and providing a perfect day showed. The canoe was extremely comfortable and even provided a big Lunch. I would recommend this over renting a canoe on another lake, learn a new skill one-2-one at the arm of a professional whilst in one of Canada’s best beauty spots and if lucky, take home something for dinner too!

  World-class experience. We caught so many fish, and we were even able to keep two rainbows and cook them on the fire back at our campsite. The views at Maligne Lake are stunning, and our guide was so knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

  My father, brother, husband and son recently booked a guided fishing trip this June, and had a great time. This is their second year back! Rob ensured the trip was enjoyable and successful. They lucked out beautiful weather, and my son was excited to catch the rainbow trout! Lifelong memories were made! I highly recommend Currie’s Guiding!

  My wife and I went out with Rob for a half a day guided trip and it was fantastic. Rob clearly knows what spots to hit and the techniques are important to learn about. We were fishing and catching in no time. Chris was also very helpful with the booking and the information about our trip. I totally recommend them.
